เนื้อร้องเพลงชาติสยาม ฉบับแรก (ไม่ใช่ฉบับทางการ) ประพันธ์โดย ขุนวิจิตรมาตรา ในปีพ.ศ. ๒๔๗๕ ซึ่งมีการห้ามใช้เนื้อร้องนี้เป็นเพลงชาติสยาม เพราะมีคำว่า "ยึดอำนาจ" อยู่ในบทร้อง โดยปรากฏเป็นหลักฐานอยู่ในผลการประชุมสภาผู้แทนราษฎร์ สมัยที่ ๑ ประจำปี พ.ศ. ๒๔๗๖ หน้า ๕๐๓ มีการระบุชัดเจนว่า รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงธรรมการได้สั่งห้ามนักเรียนร้องเพลงชาติ เพราะมีคำว่า "ยึดอำนาจ" เห็นว่าเป็นคำแสลง ส่วนผู้ประพันธ์ทำนองเพลงชาติสยาม คือพระเจนดุริยางค์ และทำนองเพลงชาติสยามนี้ก็ยังคงใช้ทำนองเดิม ไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงจนถึงทำนองเพลงชาติไทยทุกวันนี้
เนื้อร้องที่ขุนวิจิตรมาตราประพันธ์เริ่มแรกสุด ก่อนที่จะมีการแก้ไขเมื่อมีการประกวดเนื้อเพลงชาติฉบับราชการ ใน พ.ศ. 2476 มีดังนี้ (โปรดเทียบกับเนื้อร้องฉบับราชการ พ.ศ. 2477 ในหัวข้อ เพลงชาติไทยฉบับ พ.ศ. 2475 และ พ.ศ. 2477)

The lyrics of the first Siamese national anthem (Unofficial), composed by Khun Wijitramatra in 1932, which was banned from using this lyric as the Siamese national anthem because there was the word "take over power" in the lyrics as evidenced in Results of the 1st session of the House of Representatives for the year 1933, page 503, clearly stated that The Minister of Justice banned the students from singing the national anthem because the word "Coup" was seen as slang. as for the composer of the melody of the Siamese national anthem namely Phra Jenduriyang And the melody of this Siamese national anthem is still the same melody. There's not change to the melody of the National anthem today.
