I think Risu once told us in one of her free talk, forgot which on is it. "Belting" is one of singing technique to reach powerful yet complete voice in singing. I'm might be wrong in explaining it, but it's kinda like the loud part in the vocal song but it didn't feel like a scream, just more powerful part of the song
