I always check out blue heeler videos on TH-cam tube. One of the things I notice is that no matter where in the world the video is made their humans love them. My wife who has a Facebook page often puts pictures of our dogs up. Everytime she gets new friends. England, Italy USA you name the country. A lot of people reply in their own language which we don't understand butt we can tell by their photos, videos how much they love the blueys.
Yes ! Amen 🙏 me too . This dog in this video is able to jump on a wall and stay there ! Wow that’s pretty amazing ! My heeler definitely can’t do that . I wouldn’t ask her to . She probably would try her hardest if I wanted her to .. she does enough stuff on her own to get herself hurt without me asking her to do something like jump up on a brick wall 😁

Hi, I'm about to get one this month, but I have a 4 year old cat (female) do you think that if the puppy socialize with her early on, they could at least get along well? My main concern is for the puppy to see her as prey or to simply scare her away at every single oportunity, she's a very calm indoors cat, but she is very cautious and shy around new people, but once she sees them for about 3 days straight she goes straight up seeking attention from the former-unknowns 😌. Sorry for my broken English, hope you can give me some insight or advice, thank you
G'day Michael, a mate of mine had a blue that lived for around 18 or 19yrs My red got lymph cancer and I had him put to sleep just before he was 10yrs old, one of his sons lived for 15yrs I've always heard from various unrelated sources that the Guinness book of records had a red that was around 30yrs old, I haven't researched that myself though, just what I've heard That is in no way a reflection on colour but just shows the broad spectrum when it comes to longevity generalizations of any animal It's been nearly 20years since I lost my red and I only just felt I was ready for another dog, I got a blue two weeks ago, I'm expecting (or hoping) that I get a good 14 or 15yrs out of him, or at least understand and happily accept that my commitment could be that long They are very much a one man dog in a bonding sense so if you are looking for a best mate to take everywhere and "do stuff" with they are perfect I'm self employed so he'll be going to work with me everyday for life They are usually more intelligent than their owners so you do need to have good "dog sense" and firmness as they are high energy for the first five or so years until they mature and mellow a bit

@@Michelangelo0003 Hey Michael It was only a matter of around 4 or 5 weeks between diagnosis and having him put to sleep Lymphatic cancer is very aggressive I was given the option of chemotherapy for him but the vet said at best it would extend his life by six months The other option was cortisone tablets and I decided on that as I couldn't put him through chemotherapy, it is not pleasant for humans or animals Cortisone isn't a cure, it just masks the problem for a while, I think it is just a steroid This gave me time to come to terms with and accept the fact that he didn't have long to go His quality of life went downhill over those few weeks He didn't even want to come to work with me anymore The day he was put to sleep I bought two roast chickens and let him eat both about half an hour before the vet came It was very painful for me to lose my best friend for some time However I do have all the beautiful memories of him and treasure those nine and a half years we did have together I have had a blue cattle pup for about one month and he is a little champion Here we go again, lol All the best mate

@@Michelangelo0003 I only ever put him over one bitch, once I think there was about six pups born and the arrangement was that I get the male pick of the litter I gave him (sold him) to a mate I grew up with, he was a plumber so I knew he'd be going to work with him each day and have a pretty good life, that is the one that lived 15yrs I don't really know where the others went or how long they lived, except one, it was a male that was put down quite young because it wasn't good with other animals or children, I think it was the owners fault (who were probably out of their depth with an ACD) because both of the dogs parents had beautiful temperaments which is the reason I only bred him once, The hard thing about breeding is you don't know the people who buy them or what sort of life they are going to have, and that goes for any bred animal I'm sure there would be many that live 15yrs + but I've never really enquired as to the age of the ones I've known Just curious, which part of the world do you live in Cheers mate

Cómo lo haces? recién adopte uno de dos años y medio, que mantenían encadenado en un rancho y no para de hacer destrozos, no puedo dejar sus trastes para la comida y agua afuera porque los trata de destruir apenas termina de alimentarse, lo mantengo afuera por lo destructivo que es, y cuando salgo para el trabajo por las mañanas es toda una hazaña llegar a la reja, le ha dado por tratar de quitarme las sandalias y morderme los pies... ando buscando información como corregirlo y llegue a este magnifico vídeo. Y da la casualidad que el nombre de tu amigo es igual que mi apellido :3
