This album had some underappreciated songs, including this one. Summer of the occult is just a masterpiece and it's insane it's not more popular.

+Cale Radaj That perfectly describes this album. It starts out hopeful, and then there's an epic action sequence. After that it slows down for a bit, it's a sad part of the story, when you realize you aren't strong enough yet. Then it kicks back up again as you go against your enemy, and you finally beat him. And then this is the roll credits song.

That just a reversed ride cymbal.
It has a reverse ride cymbal (You can just find one on any simple 808 drum sample pack) and then it sounds like there's a sine wave pad over a kalimba (If you're interested there's a free VST plugin called Mikro Prism by Native Instruments that has a really nice kalimba instrument (If that's even what you're referring to)). It sounds like theres an echo to it too ;)
yeah or it could be a reverse ride cymbal played with a reversed piano note too. I remember using something like that a while back and it sounds like this.
