This sounds great! Participants are a pivotal part in researches creating innovative medical research! Plus earn some income while you are there! This is cool.
We actually had a study a while ago that required participants with low iron! It will depend on your blood values and the requirements of specific studies, which I can't give you a blanket answer for.
That would depend on your specific situation & the trials that we are recruiting for, so I can't give a blanket answer. If you give us a call on 1800 243 733 my colleagues would be able to provide a more detailed answer for you specifically.
How long need to wait for checkup and trials ? Just got a phone call from clinic in the afternoon. Will there be a text message/email for further instructions? Thanks
There will be a period of time where we require you not to donate blood before participating, the length depends on the study. As part of the study, we will take blood samples, and we don't want to bleed you dry!
Hello, this is Paritosh & I m from 🇮🇳INDIA so could tell me are u allowing healthy volunteer from other country. If I am interested to participate can i???
Hi, all participants need to be physically present in our clinics to participate. We have no visa requirements, so if you are from India but currently in Australia you could potentially participate.
There are potential side effects from medication. Each study has an informed consent document that goes into great detail on the potential side effects for that study, so participants can make an informed decision.
Well ...............i know a person that attended a screening appointment . Read all the paperwork . Went through the ENTIRE screening process THEN was advised his BMI was too high. I mean what the ................the BMI should have been checked / established well before any "screening appointment" . A complete waste of hours of his time . Be aware of this aspect as when it was raised with the Nucleus Network staff and the place where he was screened ..........it was mat with " oh well you don't fit the criteria " . Poor form on something that can easily be established before wasting everyone's time .
You need to read a long consent form. Listen to study reminders, answer questions, talk about your medical history and describe any symptoms so definitely some English would be needed. Are you able to hold beginner level basic conversation? If yes then just give it a go by calling them and seeing how that first conversation goes I think
Hello, all participants need to be at least 18 years old. The maximum age depends on the study. We regularly have studies that allow participants who are up to 80 years old.
Damn people are actually willing to take all these untested drugs and medicines through their healthy bodies for $. That is a big risk for a few thousand dollars, I can only imagine all the paperwork and legal stuff they get you to sign.
@@WonderWyndham-fe4xnif you understand science then you understand that a clinical TRIAL is exactly that, a trail, and comes with risks! You sound like someone that is still getting booster shots 🤡

International student can participate?
There are no visa requirements to participate in a clinical trial, as long as you will be in the country for all follow-up visits/phone calls.

Our clinic is located within the Alfred hospital complex on Commercial Road, South Yarra
Is we have to pay for the stay or not?
You do not - I know that the word 'reimbursement' can be confusing, but participants are not required to pay for anything.

Did they at least get paid for their time ..?
