Check out the shmups forum threads on the game and watch lots of replays. Most important thing is to just set a goal and play to it, could be beating the first loop or getting to a certain stage. But set something and go for it.
a little dissapointing.. after seeing the first video and seeing that were differences between Loop 1 and 2 besides "the game is a crapton harder now lol", I thought that loop 2 would have some sort of story relavence. Looks like I was wrong. ...although, since I don't speak a lick of japanese, so I don't know what's going on anyway.
The story is very weird, supposedly the mirror that you collect grants you a wish. And that thing you fight at the end is apparently a genie. I don't get it either lol.

I noticed this last time but forgot to comment. I love that a gremlin dressed as Orko is the final boss. It’s just so weird!

Yeah the first loop starts to become second nature when you play for 2 all clears and are used to the difficulty increase in loop 2.
