Hi, I can't comment on the thrash but I have used Mackie 12inch speakers before and Id have to say the box pro DSP beats them anyday although the Mackies do have their use cases

Do į need subwoofer for these? Going to use in 5x4m rooom. Need to have loud and punchy deep bass.
hi, these have very deep bass and do not require a subwoofer but a subwoofer is always better to take load off of main speakers

Bass in these are insane for the price and you can feel it!

Lots of bass/low end but a good along of treble and mids. A mixer is definitely recommended for use with these

They are very good speakers for the cost and they sound amazing
They are cheap but they are fantastic! We use 2 x 15" tops and 2 x 18" Subs with our 6-piece band and they are awesome!
