      @@C100-n2b Except they did noticeably celebrate whenever a save or crucial tackle was taken; almost as though they scored a goal themselves. The squad was belting out their anthem, played with absurd tenacity and strategically outplayed every team they faced in the tournament. Not a fan, but they fully deserved this. Let the champions bask in their glory.

      Here is a paragraph to explain why Geoffrey Kondogbia is the greatest midfielder of all time
      At his time in Valencia,he formed an incredible partnership with Parejo that reached the champions league quarter finals,which was the backbone of the team. Unfortunately the Peter Lim car crash happened,it was an absolute disaster on a financial standpoint,they needed to sell their best players like Kondogbia,Torres,Parejo and more. Kondogbia joined Atletico Madrid following the departure of Thomas Partey to Arsenal.Kondogbia immediately came in the team and performed at a high level always giving his all whenever he got the chance, providing a important part in an Atletico Madrid team that won la Liga.The goat 🐐🐐🐐🐐

    Aside from the '12 Euro final (when he clearly shouldn't have been playing), Chiellini has been a rock for the national team. I think you could reasonably argue that he's very rarely been outside the top 10 or so defenders in the world since '05. Others have been better in their primes - Nesta, for example - but they weren't as effective for as long as Chiellini.

    • @yuliangeorgiev
      @yuliangeorgiev 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nesta was eating prime Messi alive in his last season at Milan. He was still better than Thiago Silva. Prandelli messed the formation in that final. Italy outolayed the best Spain team two times in a row and then he changed the winning 3-5-2 to 4-4-2 with Chiellini as a left back. That was one of the stupidest decisions by a head coach I have ever seen. It was a shame as that Italy team could have gone toe to toe with Spain at the time and instead they were demolished.

    NO! NO! and NO! Whenever he's out on the pitch I honestly worry about the runs that he usually gets beat on that will cost Italy goals because he's either out of position or is just too slow and does something stupid like pull a player down or foul him hard. I don't follow his club career and I really don't care what he does there. I'm only concerned what he does with the national team and from the years of watching him he's over matched on many occasions. He's had this so called amazing resurgence of good play from what a lot of media keep promoting but in reality it's not him. It's Bonucci, DiLorenzo, and Spinazolla. Those 3 cover him constantly, ESPECIALLY Spinazolla. When Spinazolla was out and Emerson was in, pay close attention where Chiellini was at on the pitch. Floating in space and not stepping up on the ball. It's truly amazing England didn't expose that side more like they did on the first goal. I'm so glad they didn't. I don't ever want to see Emerson and Chiellini again in a starting role. Italy's midfield is strong and fast and they can get back and help so Chielleni doesn't get caught in a one on one or in numbers he can't stop. I give Chiellini tons of credit for heart but his play throughout the years has caused my heart to almost stop.
