Dong Yi, though started out as one, she certainly was more than just a damnned concubine.
Considering the fact that she was Queen of Josean in all but name after Inhyun's death, Dong Yi was the King's Royal Principal Wife.
Agreed... I like how she changed the character through all events that had happened ... Maid, inspector, newly concubine, mother, and a respectable concubine... Look at how her tears dropping...😿 it is heartbreaking

I started watching Dongyi because of Kim Yoo Jung as child actor. She was a great actress as young dongyi and I cried a lot. Even she played only up to ep4. And Hyo Joo...she was indeed a great actress. I watched Dongyi again and again until I google about Dongyi history and also started to favor the main actor and actress. Great drama from MBC.

왜곡이 살짝 많긴 하지만 재밌으면 됐지 뭐

Dong Yi kdrama was so excellent played by the admirable. actress Han Hyo-joo and the lead actor Ji Jin-hee. Very good drama to watch over and over again. Other supporting actresses and actors were also good. I hope there will be another drama like this for HanHyo Joo and JiJin Hee.

This is why I don’t want to watch the Jang Ok-jung something. Dong Yi is one of best Korean drama of all time.

Cherry Angelie They twisted the story there. Historically, though history is written by the winner, Okjung was a bad person; the director/screenwriter took a liking to her. Dong Yi while not entirely accurate, keeps characters in their place
Jang Ok Jung messes me up great times since I loved the story between Yoo Ah In and Kim Tae Hee 😫😫
Mee too. I heard they potray Choi Suk Bin as a bad consort while historically, Suk bin is a good royal consort, she keeps the palace in peace & harmony. One time when Queen Inwon got smallpox, she order palace staff to go outside to find medicine for her, and the queen survived.
Watching this again on 29th was October 2019 can’t get enough
