I feel the struggle now after reach Tl40 im Tl44 now. I'm struggling with currency to upgrade character/trace/lightcone. Evenif i have the materials The only char that i have with fully max at lv60 is my seele with 4set 5star quantum relic and 2 set 5star sphere. All other character i have at lv60 but not fully max and only using 4star relic is yanqing bailu fire mc asta and tingyun. I don't regret spend all my resource for seele tho because she hit like crazy. But for now im so broke. F2p pain.. this is Genshin al over again

@@HyperDavid its unobtainable so far. hypothetically, its expected to be obtained from trailblaze level up rewards like the physical one, but no proof so far so not confirmed
and yes u are able to buy everything in the shop if u complete all side quests and do some achievements so dont be scared to buy especially when u need it and if u dont use fire mc, which idk why u wouldnt

Remember when building a unit this is priority…
Char level> Lightcone level> Traces> Relics.
And pray to god, you have milions of credits when hitting Account lvl 40

I would say Relic main stats are more important than Trace levels. BUT unlocking some key traces in the first place should take priority over Relics (for example Natasha's dispel on skill use).

There are actually 3 repeatable daily puzzles you can do on The Xianzhou Luofu to farm Strale. So don't worry too much if you didn't spend all of it on the Eidolans right away

Those 3 repeatable puzzles also refreshes daily for about 3 days I think? There are a total of 3 chests per puzzles to the total of 27 chests overall. Also the rubik puzzles refresh once after you complete all of them, thus there is no lack of currency imo

For those who don't know
Big Warning: Getting a 5* Lightcone in the standard banner doesn't mean you'll get a guaranteed 5* Character next. I've gotten Bronya's Lightcone twice in a row and in separate pity
Isnt like tha in GI? There however if you get two chars in a roll you are guanrnteed a weapon next and vice versa.

Here's another mistake: Do NOT miss out on the repeatable daily clock puzzles at the third region, you can go to xianzhou and repeat a certain clock puzzle with a timetable and it gives you not only multiple chests but also some funny dialogues with random characters appearin outta nowhere, you get both strafle value and stellar jades along with experience and fun, so don't miss out on those :D
there's actually 3 different repeatable chest groups, you'll see their puzzle piece marker on the map

@@jo0rd73 in cloud fort, in the bottom left there’s a skiffy control puzzle you can do 4 times each day. It should show up on the map, it’s on the lower of the two big docks on the left lower side

Another mistake most players might not know is that over time characters in the story will appear on the Astral Express train, interacting with them will give you 10 jades. This only works once per character.
Actually, I talked to Serval again today and she gave me a present (10 stellar jade)! So we might get a little more, over the course of the game

@@pumpkinut5314 i think different interactions equal different things. so like the first one you always get the jade, and then every time they talk abt giving you a gift you get jade again, its just not guaranteed. gerpard has given m gems like 3 times now bc i keep getting lucky.
I think a massive mistake is to pull for every character that comes out. Mtashed will hit a wall eventually but he doesn't really care as long as his account is broken. But for others it would bother them simply because of the fear of missing out and seeing everyone get that character. Always know that you can skip banners and the more banners you skip the more discipline you'll have for the banners to come, and for the characters that you really want to get in the future.
For the time being, I don't see that happening to me, There are not many characters I really like here. Even Seele, I only got her because she is an expy for Honkai Impact 3rd. I didn't like her here as much as the original. I did like Bronya however, but I can get Bronya on failed 50/50s
My only fear is losing the 50/50
I dont really care that much about Jing Yuan (already have Seele, so from what i understand he's not as important), but I'll be pulling anyway because I heard Tingyun will be on that banner, and she's currently the ONLY 4* I'm missing. Also lacking Bronya, so getting Tingyun would be a massive boost to my account
The biggest mistake in a gacha game is to have that FOMO feeling. If you dont have it, you wont really care whether you should pull or not.
No more FOMO on my end. Seele will be it for a long time in the same way that Xiao was the only boy I needed on my entire first year of Genshining. Xiao spam plunge, Seele spam turns 🥳
For the assignments, I'd say that that second page of character exp, weapon exp and credits should be done everyday. You can farm way more mats, and all mats can be exchanged into other mats at a 2:1 ratio. Credits is a much more finite resource than the non-boss enemy drops.
While you can avoid the eidolon in the shops, if you aren’t going to farm out all the currency by doing quests, chests, and finding little things here and there, it will lock you out from the last two levels (since you have to spend so much to level up and it’s a big chunk at 500 and 1000), and this does include the free summon.
I still remember the days i started playing genshin watching your guides it was a great journey and now also playing honkai by watching your guides ..it will be a great journey too mtashed

I have to say this, one of the mistakes (few people) make is to skip the story. Don’t skip the story lol.

But, but, I don't wanna think, I wanna kill, murder, murder, murder, and murder, doesn't matter if they are innocent civilians, the only line I am not crossing is if they are an animal that resembles a dog or a cat, then I'll try to find out where the hell I went wrong (spoilers, everywhere.)
My tip is to save the fuel until you have enough to push to the next tier but only use after you do everything you can to get trailblaze exp you can. Getting to the next tier is huge just because your daily trailblaze exp will go up which means faster exp sooner. This will also let you see what you need to to prep before the next tier and use the fuel to gather it up.
If you make sure to see what characters you plan to get need you can farm ahead of time in the future and not need to worry about using those fuel items to farm the day of their release.
Genshin I made the mistake of hoarding them forever and I’m sitting on 140+ fragile with nothing I want or need to farm. I’m close to having 2 months of resin stored for nothing 😅

For the Luofu shop, there is a lot of things for you to do to max it out. just explore and do hidden quest
with the 2 piece 5 star relic farming before rank 40, it's actually pretty useful for salvaging and making your own 5 star relics once you unlock the option at rank 40

In The Xianzhou Loufu u can get all the rewards from the shop if u 100% clear the WHOLE location including hidden quests and NPC interactions
True this. I was lowkey confused when he said something about waiting 6 weeks to unlock more currency. And I was like, "the hell this guy's talking about when I already bought all of that shops content.It's not even been 1 week since I entered the 3rd world, where the hell did get the 6 weeks from." XD

Love your videos as always, a quick heads up you can already buy out the third shop too if you finish all the side quests puzzles and chests in space Liyue, the depressed bird hidden questline gets you around another 100 coins if you are still missing some coins.
Weird. I have like zero quests or chests left. But never saw that bird
@@MTashedI can confirm you can actually buy out the shop. Look for a guide for the hidden quests.
@@MTashed A LOT of quest in the 3rd world are unmarked, you'll have to explore A LOT, and some are locked behind other unmarked quest as well, and some are puzzle quest that can be done again the next day.
I talked to every NPC everyday and you'll come across some NPCs that will have new dialogue (marked with either a ! or a ?)

The planar ornament drops don't improve until trailblazer lvl50. They are the same between lvl30 and lvl50 in w5 and w6. So unless you don't plan on ever farming or using any planar stuff until trailblazer lvl50, it's actually more efficient use of energy to farm them pre lvl40.
I rushed lvl40 on f2p by using fuel to get planar ornaments in w6 knowing that I can farm other materials for traces much more efficiently at lvl40 and can skip farming for planars until lvl50.

7:43 I recently went up in equilibrium level and wanted to try clearing the new level of weekly cocolia. I didn’t have enough stats to do so, but when I tried using a defense buffing consumable then I survived long enough for the mech to help me kill her. The consumables really do help.

Tip I learned, max out the gear because if you use it to level up the better piece, the majority of the xp sticks. It gives you xp shards to make up the difference from ascending them. Works with all gear. I infused my blues into my purples and it gave me a crap ton of relic xp shards, I roughly only lost a level or two from where the previous piece was.

You can also salvage 5* relics to synthesize the other one you want from the specific set with specific main stat that you want
I've bought everything on the Xianzhou Luofu and still have Strales left over. If you complete all 15 Hexanexus, you can meet someone from the Hexanexus club who will reset them all and make them slightly more difficult. There are also 3 daily puzzles you can do for 3 days. The first one is the Master in the Artisan commission asking you to use the lasers to destroy balloons, the second one is helping a port worker guiding freight starskiffs into the port in Cloudford (the circle puzzle things) and the last one is in the Divination comission helping set the Divination puzzles. Each of these can be done 3 days in a row. Also you get tons of Strales from opening chests and just walking around doing hidden quests by investigating random stuff you notice twinkling. There are also a ton of hidden cycrane quests if you find the depressed cycrane near the inn where Tingyun picks you up
Besides the physical set from the stores (if you main a phys character), all others should not be a priority, you get enough from chests for all characters and more. Get all other eidolons/exp/materials first.

You can buy out the entire Luofu shop. Do all of your dailies and side quests then go find some of the hidden quests.
Another thing to note is that fire MC prefers to use their basic attack and is a great skill point battery
You can get all the Strale ( currency for the Xianzhou Luofu shop ) and the Eidolons. just get all the chests hidden achievements and do all the puzzles.

I watched Mtashed during the Destiny days. I decided to try this game since it just came out and is the new hotness. Mtashed was my Destiny guru then and now my Honkai Star Rail guru.

Biggest mistake i made was ignoring my trailblazers level, then there's a quest where they have to be on your team and at least lvl 30. Of course i had just blown through my character lvl up materials too 😢

didnt even know you could get the custom artifact from the battlepass, i definetely wouldve just used it immediately, great advice!
If you check the battlepass, you get 6 fuel per cycle, since the next equilibrium level might take a few weeks to get, there's no harm in using around 6 fuel since you're just going to get them back in the next update.
It's better to just get yourself in a good position and use the extra stamina for the next update with all the materials ready, rather than feel stuck by the lack of progression.
Love the video! Would love in the future for you to reference genshin, so it's easier to understand for some of us. AKA relics are artifacts, lightcones are basically weapons, etc etc. Would also really like timestamps so we can remember the tips more easily and go back to them.

Also, its not terrible to hold on with buying from hertas store. If you know youre gonna pull for a character that could benefit from one of those weapons. Its cool to wait and see if you pull the character or not

just want to say that on the xianzhou luofu there are actually enough things you can do in the game currently do allow you to buy out the shop. I haven't bought it out completely myself, but I have gotten enough strale to get all the rewards for spending it, so you should have no trouble getting the eidolons
in the 3rd zone, you can already buy all the items in the store, _but _only if you close the entire territory... quests, puzzles, daily puzzles, chests, silent quests that starts after you talk to npc (Cycrane for example). and after all: you can prioritize what you need.
Coming from Artery Gear, I've been focusing on Atk, Crit and Spd for Star Rail lol. Having all 4 members attack right out the gate and demolish most of the enemies is definitely satisfying.

One thing I think most people just missed: There is an item recipe with +24% quantum DMG that you can buy from vending machines in 2nd world (Jarilo's main street near hotel).
In my case, i would buy everything in the Jarilo. All the recipe, all the book and news. Cuz i love exploring and interact with npc.

Mtashed you can salvage the 5 star artifacts to craft some others if you didnt know
If you have golden gear you dont need, you can salvage it and synthesize the gear you want. I prefer getting gear first because you can switch them out between characters. Leveling up traces is only one character at a time
Also you can Salvage 5star relics for currency to custom craft one

The phys eidolons werent a huge mistake for me at all. It didnt take me long to finish herta and belobogs shop, and what i deprioritized was the lightcone xp, because i never once struggled with that.

So in the space carlor where Pom Pom is. You can talk with characters you have met in the open world if they are there, its random. But talking with them will give you 10 stellar jades per character. Not much but it goes a long way

You can do the daily puzzles in the third zone for a small amount of currency every day.
I likely done some of those, but have to move forward and try not doing them again! :)
Also the potentially worth it light cone herta store are the hunt one. The rest u can get it later, so u can get some tickets for getting potential new units or light cones :)
Just so you know, the store in Loufou (not sure if im saying that right) can be completely bought, theres enough side quests that can be completed simply by talking to other ppl who give more than enough currency to buy 95% of the shop.

biggest mistake: taking advice from guides online, because they will always use a 5 star you dont have and youll get angry
i've been doing trace/ascension materials only the past 3 days lol. And you are right, i got my seele on 50 rolls, but meanwhile i got natasha E5 and pela E3. i got bronya, seele ,welt early. Though..my guarantee from regular banner was gepard's 5* light cone, which i am using for MC fire, works too. I am also waiting for jing yuan, 80 rolls saved up

Doing all 50 warps on the newbie banner at the beginning is good because it has drastically increased 5 star pity so yes while you are only guaranteed one 5 star the chance is to get another one is higher than standard regardless of building up the 300 warps for standard.
I can agree a lot of what Mtashed said. But ultimately It's a single player game, there are no competitions in this. play at your own pace, and enjoy the game.
You actually can buy almost everything on xianzhou, but you'll need to collect all chests and do all those timegated puzzles

Surprisingly, I'm a new player and I haven't played genshin before or anything yet I was careful from the start.. I was paranoid to use or waste anything so I kept on saving and didn't make any of those mistakes! Heck I didn't even level up my relics until Phantylia boss fight because I didn't know they were so useful 😭.

I came here fully expecting to be told that "I've ruined my account beyond belief" and was pleasantly surprised that I've been doing all this! Been burning fuels and doing occasional refreshes to hit Trailblaze 41 and max traces out for E2 Seele. I've got everything out of the way so I can farm 5* relics daily now. Will say the early game grind into EXP mats was definitely the way to go.

@Psymonks if you're f2p unless you got super lucky that E2 Seele could be considered "ruined" in the sense that she's currently strong enough without eidolons and you might struggle to grind out future pulls that are more important
btw once u hit difficulty 2 on simulated u start to get more coins weekly ... i will get like 4 next reset and that is 4 free rolls on the gear from simulated which is great and i think we will have more later on with higher lvl also i recommend farming Credits ... the biggest bottleneck for everyone will be credits because you need insane ammounts to lvl anything later
