I do know the exact site you are referring to. The Mans name is Johnny Nix. He sold these at one time and he also had a show on the RFD Channel called Y'all eat Yet. We have a few videos of some of his recipes. His set up is where I came up with the Idea of mine. I think he had a few deaths in his family and no longer makes and sells this set up which is very unfortunate. Also unfortunately at this time with my wife and myself working full time jobs I can not build these setups to sell. This video is really in-depth and if you take it to any welding shop they should be able to make it for you. Not sure what it might cost because the price of the material fluctuates so much but I would think it might be around 1 thousand dollars for the material and labor if you have someone else build it. Probably half that if you can do it yourself. Maybe at some point I can make these for sell but at this time I just cant with my current job. Thanks so much for your question though.

Thank you so much Ryan. I have been asked to by many people but the shipping would be as much as the setup I am afraid. Mine is currently about twice as heavy as any that are sold. That I can find anyways. Thank you so much for watching
That's a sweet setup you got bro! If I ever have time for another project than I'm deffinetly making one. Your a freakn engineer Billy! If you made these per order and sold these online...you could make a killn'. You can call em "Bills Grills" or "Strong's Cowboy Cooker" or "Billy's Grilly's". I have plenty more great ideas where that came from hahahaha
Thank you but I did get the idea from another Dutch Oven cook. I could build them but it would cost a fortune to ship. Love all the names though and I promise if I ever go into business and use one of the names you suggested I will buy you a bottle of hot sauce LOL (although the mail man probably will break it LOL )
Thank you for stopping by Pete. Well the thing about that is then your hooks would be way up high in the air and these pots can be really heavy not to mention very hot. Now I do have a Dutch Oven table that I do use to cook on when I am not using the hook set up and that really helps with not having to bend over and I have an attachment that I can use one of the swing grills with it. I use it in quite a few of the videos that we have on the channel. Thanks again for watching.
Bill I am so sorry, we can't remember where we got the hooks from. It was somewhere in Colorado. Rhonda got them for me for my birthday more than 15 years ago. She thinks it was a Chuck Wagon supply place. I patterned all of my stuff from Johnny Nix, but unfortunately it looks like he is no longer making them either. All I can find now on internet searches is stuff that is way less inferior to what I have. I am really sorry that I couldn't help you but thank you so much for checking out our video and stopping by.

Yes I also drilled 1/4" inch holes in the fire box along with the 1" large drain hole. The 1/4" holes help the water drain if for some reason I have forgotten to take out the main drain plug. Thank you for your question.
Man that’s a cool set up there!!! You should make them to sell!! For all us that can’t weld😂😂 great video buddy thanks for sharing
Thank you so much Ryan. I have been asked to by many people but the shipping would be as much as the setup I am afraid. Mine is currently about twice as heavy as any that are sold. That I can find anyways. Thank you so much for watching
Sweet
The New video coming out tomorrow will have all the dimensions and measurements. 5:45 as a premiere would love to see you there
awesome dear
Thank you so much tasha. I really like this set up
That's a sweet setup you got bro!
@@strongsadventures well I hope you get rich making those grills so I can have that free bottle of sauce 🤣🤣
Like 60 and supported cheers
Thank you Grant. I had to re sub you for some reason. Why can't the crappy people i sub to go away ?
nice set up ! how about making one that is much taller like a table height so no need to bend way down ?
Thank you for stopping by Pete. Well the thing about that is then your hooks would be way up high in the air and these pots can be really heavy not to mention very hot. Now I do have a Dutch Oven table that I do use to cook on when I am not using the hook set up and that really helps with not having to bend over and I have an attachment that I can use one of the swing grills with it. I use it in quite a few of the videos that we have on the channel. Thanks again for watching.
We’re did you get your setup at
Hey Thank you Leo. As stated in the video I bought the hooks and uprights out of Colorado and built everything else myself .
Where did you get the hooks from?
Bill I am so sorry, we can't remember where we got the hooks from. It was somewhere in Colorado. Rhonda got them for me for my birthday more than 15 years ago. She thinks it was a Chuck Wagon supply place. I patterned all of my stuff from Johnny Nix, but unfortunately it looks like he is no longer making them either. All I can find now on internet searches is stuff that is way less inferior to what I have. I am really sorry that I couldn't help you but thank you so much for checking out our video and stopping by.
@@strongsadventures NO PROBLEM!! I really appreciate your quick response... I agree, everything I've found online just doesn't measure up to what you have. Take good care of it... lol... you may never find another set like them. However, if you do, please let me know!
Where can I purchase this at
You can't at this point. This is why I give instructions how to make it but Thanks so much
Wow!
Yeah LoL Thank you so much for watching
waw amazing 👍
Thank you so much my friend
Do you have anyone that could build this? I don’t have anyone that’s a welder neat me. I travel through your ares about every 6 months.
I am really sorry but right now time just doesn't permit me to build another one. I did get the Idea from Johnny Nix a really great Dutch Oven/Cowboy cook. He has a web site and I know that he used to build and sell these. This is his web site shop.yalleatyet.com. I really am hoping to be able to build and sell these but it will be a few years yet. Thank you so much for your interest. Billy Strong.
It very cool, but I don't think I'll be making one.
LOL Val you never know when you might just take a welding class. Thanks for watching
Hi new friend hope you visit me. That looks really good DK if I'd use it on the road just a hanging pot over a fire. It's really nice though.🙏
We actually Dutch Oven cook using several methods .Not just this big cooker. But this is my pride and joy
@@strongsadventures yeah i seen some of the food it looks so good I'd love to have one .
How much to build me one?
Not sure yet. Contact me in a few months.
