If you for one second think that South Amboy and Sayreville in New Jersey is a high affluent town you are dead wrong. It's as blue collar a place as you can get. Just because there are some beautiful houses dotting the waterfront, it doesn't mean that these are homes to super rich people. Most of the people in this area that make above middle-class wages have done so through true hard work and they have earned their places. Devastation to people and places regardless of income classes is tragic.

Crazy. I remember being in south amboy at this time. Right on Augusta st... End of South pine.... I actually got arrested 2 months later for selling dope . Lol. This was almost 9 years ago people and I have beautiful home and a lovely life now...

i dont live in south amboy no more but i lived there for 9 years but there was only tiny bits of roof tops after sandy but the house was fine.
