I am literally crying like I lost a member of my own family! 😭 I’ve never met Father Mark or attended one of his Masses but I watched his sermons every Sunday! What a HUGE loss! He was an INCREDIBLE and an AMAZING Priest for Jesus! My condolences to his family and friends and his congregation. May he Rest in Eternal Peace 🙏🏼

It's always amazing to see how many lives were impacted by my uncle. I appreciate all of the kind words left in the comments. We just assumed he would be here for many more years to come and are still in shock. I appreciate channels like this with large followings that disseminated his messages. He always spoke what was true and what we needed to hear, and he shaped my faith as he has shaped many of yours. Remember, if you ever find yourself missing him, go to the next available mass and he and all of the saints in Heaven will be praying along side you.

God shows very highly with this homily ... if we get easily frustrated with people, imagine the love God holds but the sadness we cause His precious heart!
Can’t help thinking about the part in 2Timothy ch 4 where St Paul writes about fighting the good fight and finishing the course. Fr Mark seems to be punching extremely hard here and sprinting to the end of the course. Lord grant him rest🙏🏼🙏🏼

Praise Jesus! Fr. Has been reunited with his dad. I talked to Fr. Mark on the phone a few months ago about my grandson. He was so kind! I prayed for him everyday. Now, I will ask him to pray for us everyday. A great loss for his parish and family!

Blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it:
Through the Holy Spirit, God has put it on me to preach to those lost in the devil's deceit!
Hear me when I say, ye that are Catholic have been deceived and know not God. Ye worship Mary, praying to her; when God tells his to worship none other than him. It is idolatry.
Catholicism has its own Bible and teachings, which are blasphemous to the word of God: the Holy Bible. As ye follow the teachings of man and not God; ye hear the pope, but not Jesus, yet ye claim to be his disciples!
These are but a few things I named ye dwell within; there are many more. I tell you now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father!
There are *NO* sub-divisions of Christianity. You're either a disciple of Christ or not. A Christian is someone who follows God's word, not a religion. Who obey the Father and follow his will; not man's nor their own heart's. Unless you keep Jesus' commandments, think not the Holy Spirit will dwell within you!

I suggest very strongly that all the doubters and deniers to go visit your local parish and talk directly to a priest. He will describe in clear and concise Biblical terms as to why the Catholic Church is authentic. Go to the holy land and witness this truth from the original followers of Jesus. I met some of them at my parish during a recent visit. Anyone who puts down the Catholic Church puts down Christ Himself. Catholics are the original Christians. Fact.

What Jesus meant by Rock was his name Petra; which means rock in Greek. Romans 10:8-10. That's the gospel right there. The Bible NEVER states that in order to be saved you must be Catholic. Please search God's word for truth. There you will find your answers.
@phillipmoore... I think that those whose names are written in The Book of Life will be surprised when we get to heaven. God knows the heart of each person. Praise God for that. But, there's nothing but Jesus' PERFECT sacrifice for those who believe. He kept the Law perfectly and was without sin! That's why we can claim Him as our perfect sacrifice. We don't bring Anything but filthy rags before the throne of God. When God sees me He will see Jesus and His blood covering every sin I've committed....if you're told differently from a Pastor or Priest....run....that's from the pit of hell.

Condolences from india. This is the first time i have heard anything from this priest, so, you can imagine my utter shock at learning he passed away just yesterday. We have lost another gem, and with a talk like that, he definitely will watch over you from above. Dearest Father rest in peace. Francis has silenced so many good priests so when we lose someone like this, under these circumstances, it is a huge tragedy.
God, knowing His servant's days were numbered, sent the Holy Spirit to speak through him last Sunday, Powerful sermon is an understatement.

I am SO sad..I live in Huntington Beach, CA, and found Fr. Mark this year. I have listened to his Homily every week since I found him. I looked forward to his Homily, even after hearing our own local homily on Sunday at mass. I loved his sense of humor, his stories, his teaching, and his message. I am filled with tears for his Mother and his family. Yet I know, based upon our faith, and how he walked the walk, Fr. Mark is with Jesus, and has finally met God. My sister and her husband in Washington state and my husband and I in Alabama listened to Fr Beard during Covid lock down and all over him. My friend and her husband did also. He touched so many lives he never knew about. Thank you, Lord, for letting us have him I our lives.

It’s not about a priest or the pope or any one person. It’s about our sacraments. Go to Mass every Sunday to receive Jesus. Go to confession regularly. Become involved in your parish. Read up on our catechism. Start with Bishop Robert Barron. He’s excellent!! Make a commitment to become a better Catholic. You can also review Fr. Beard’s previous homilies. I pray these suggestions help you.
May the Angels lead you into paradise:
may the martyrs receive you at your coming,
and lead you into the holy city, Jerusalem.
May the choir of Angels receive you,
and with Lazarus, who once was poor,
may you have everlasting rest.
Mark was my classmate. I spoke to him at our class reunion in 2004. He explained how he was entering the priesthood and was sleeping on a bed in a dormroom. I didn't realize until later what he was giving up in a worldly riches sense. I am not a Catholic but I see Christian conviction. I see the passion and the love for God and others in it.

Absolutely beautiful homily I hope we can find many priests who defends the truth but nothing but the truth we cannot pick and choose like cafeteria Catholics adhere to the teachings of the Catholic Church and to the true magisterium of the church.
