Road condition is awful. Innumerable diversions, uneven roads and absolute disregard for traffic rules is the hallmark of this road, especially in Bihar and Jharkhand. I would suggest not to undertake this journey until the highways are ready.
Bihar stretch has been patchy with diversions for expansion work since last decade. This is as good it gets. I don't think things would ever improve on the GT Road.
You scare me. Have heard of hour-long traffic jams on Bihar-UP border, now you have added threatening road conditions. We are due to travel back from Kolkata to Ahmedabad via Varanasi and that scary road. Pity, have to endure it all.
@@bidyutkumarganguly6605 Go for it, just don't drive in the fog as Bihar and Varanasi would be having thick foggy conditions right now. Besides, keep in mind, Bihar would have patchy roads and the drive be all the way bumpy. But then, it would be fun. Go for it. Have a safe journey.
