Drones change the entire perspective from good to incredible. Best surf in Cal for the last fifty years and I know that for sure since I've been here for the last fifty years.
I agree for the different footages I’m been watching but I’m positive these are shot up high on the bluffs looking down. It’s all on a tripod. But from this angle you really see all the sets coming in and the width how long it actually was. This was the biggest I’ve ever seen.
@@holyspiritsniper3415 Tow in allows us to get into waves that are currently impossible to paddle into. Meh? We can set you up with a board next time it’s this big, so you can show us all how it’s done.
Incredible sets, and some nice rides! Cool soundtrack too! Thanks for sharing!
you did an amazing job capturing the brave riders do their high speed thing on absolutely monster waves.....!!!!!
thank you sir.....
r.g.
Thank you! That’s the best compliment, I appreciate it.
Great footage! Maverics were majestic that day!
Thank you for taking the time to watch and leave a comment 👏🏽
Loving how the zoomed out footage gives perspective to just how psycho it is out there.
Thank you. Yeah I figured there were enough close up tight in shots, had to zoom out to see the whole picture!
Best view of Mavs I've seen hands down. Great capture and choice soundtrack 👌
@@olsim1730 I really appreciate that! Thank you 😊

I've seen all the different angles from drones and jet skis, but this really gives a unique view and shows the size of these monsters 🌊
Thank you! I had fun filming it all. 🤙🏽
Very nice the music was fantastic too
I appreciate you! Thanks for watching.

This is pure Epic-ness Mike! ❤
@@emilyrose8725 thanks Emily!!
I can't believe they named this place after that movie surfs up, that's so cool ...
This spot has been named Mavericks for about 40 years, long before that movie came out. Thanks for watching!
Just WOW !
.. mind blown
Lotsa 60 footers and a potential 108 footer surfed that day.
A shame the Eddie did not peel like that. Great photography!
@@peteratlanecove7436 it would be epic if it did! Thank you 🤙🏽
Amazing. Caught 3 surfers on consecutive waves. First documented foiling at Mavericks?
@@joelesmay6038 one of the firsts, he may have done it once before. But I’m not sure.
CRAZY!!!
You can realise how big it is...searchig for the ants...
6:40 ❤
Dang we should’ve had the jet skis in the 90s ! 🤧👊💪🏄♂️❤️🤺😂
surfer at 2:22 is bad ass! Thot he was wiped out. Dang!
Wow dynamic
Did anyone paddle into a wave?
Earlier in the day before the swell filled in.
@@AzHiAzIaMOfficial What do you mean by filled in? Do you mean people paddled in before it got too huge?
@ yes exactly. Swell was 1/3 the size in the morning.
How long have they been allowing tow in there?
@@slappy1031 almost 30 years?
Wasn’t it too foggy to film from the cliff?
@@byronetmedia it was most of the day, the afternoon cleared out for a while though.
gigantic 🙄
Which one is alos wave this doesnt lokk 108 feet im sorry
@@capilibby none of these, I think I missed that set.
Meh, tow in lessens the mystique of a legendary break. Let’s see some paddle-in surfers honoring such a spiritual place.
