I loop this story. So perfect. At first I hadn’t noticed Morag’s looking around to see if anything were new! “A turn for the drizzly”-an absolutely BRILLIANT turn of a phrase!!!!
My ginger cat, Goose, somehow caught the cat flu (he’s an indoor cat) and I have had an exhausting day at the vet with him. He gave me a heart attack a few times because he had these breathing fits, similar to an asthma attack. Finally home, Goose is reunited with his sister and he’s stable. I am looking forward to a good nights sleep, this story was the first video in my recommended. Honestly think it’s fate. As soon as I heard your voice, I finally relaxed. Thank you Sam for putting so much effort into these videos. The quality is outstanding. I cannot thank you enough. Honestly put me in a good mood after a shitty day.

It's well past 2 a.m. and I'm trying SO hard to stay awake because this is so entertaining but the fire and purring are having the desired effects and are soon to win the fight. Can't tell you how many lines I've thought "oh I must comment on that...that's my favorite line". Also the detail in the volume of the sound effects (the rain muffled as the door shuts ...the fire is not yet heard until near) really is well done.Very polished results. Been meaning to mention, the extended pause you do between giving the title and starting speaking in your videos, I find fantastically deepening to the experience. Without thinking, I use this time to continue deep breathing and really connect with the wind or crackling fire. To really believe I'm there. Then you start speaking and I'm like "oh right, there's more! " 😂 The pause is brilliant. Anyhow, back to the story. Fighting to stay awake is the best way to find yourself asleep. I'll listen a second time during daylight hours. I'd love to know what your mum thought of the story.
As much as I just like to know these help people sleep, I also love hearing when people pick up on the details and 'why' the format is arranged roughly a certain way. So that's AWESOME Ellen, thank you! :D Hope you got to sleep eventually... S x

Tried listening last night, but fell asleep quite quickly so I listened again during my afternoon nap, heard most 😁 . This is such a great story and all of the sounds are perfect! It's really interesting see how your technique changes as you learn and just play with different things
