“There is nothing consistent in trucking” truer words were never spoken.
Hey y’all, I’ve been watching the load board, freight is crazy right now! I’ve been home for 18 days, truck is in the shop, waiting on Peterbilt to ship the correct part, hopefully be back out on Thursday. I need to get back out and get some of that high dollar freight. I pay myself a set rate every week, money goes in maintenance find every load, the rest of the settlement goes in the bank and so it looks like I’ll have a really good Christmas bonus this year. Y’all stay safe, can’t wait for the big news. Dan.

My first trucking job in 1991 was for an expediting company. I drove a crappy Isuzu cab over with a 16 foot box and I hauled hot freight all over the country. Then graduated to a 24ft straight truck and eventually OTR. I miss those days, but destroyed my back and went into IT. Haha, love following you guys!

Love that Flying J in Barstow. They let my store my 14 ft trailer over the weekend while I made a quick run to AZ and back then headed home. I tried to pay them but the manager wouldn’t let me. That saved me from having to drag the trailer from Barstow to AZ and back.

Tje only way I've found to create consistency in trucking is to take off every other week on the weekend. This way I run 3k+ miles the first week out. 2k+ the 2nd week. Gives me 10k+ per month.
Did this for 6 months straight, then got a bad dispatcher and it all fell apart lol. So again, no consistency lol
I’m home almost every night the Freight is A round Michigan so I’m doing good at home More Freight more money is what I like
Crafty hand-me-downs is one of my favorite things!! ❤️ It’d be nice to have an actual pair of earphones instead of using my blue tiger for everything!
When you drop them off in Red Bluff, CA I'll have the coffee ready! and yes I could use them I like to listen to music while in bed but can't wear my over the ear headphones they interfere with my CPAP mask headgear!

Noticed this before but never commented about it. Noticed that since you guys always have three clips in each video, your ads always happen at the exact end of each clip. That is so neat because your clip content is never interrupted that way. Guess that means that you are able to somehow schedule when ads play, which I didn't know was possible. I'm pretty dumb able that stuff. All I know is that it is frustrating when watching other TH-cam vids to have the ad pop in at exactly the worst possible moment. Everything about your vids is so perfect in every way.
thank you so much. I think you can adjust where the ads are played but TH-cam recently this year just added this new feature where it detects where in the video to put ads.

The winds were nasty yesterday in Ann Arbor Michigan. And all the way west down to lower Iowa. But the ones that went through Ann Arbor yesterday are now up into New York State with winds of 75 miles an hour

Even though your vlog does not show up in my email anymore, I've found and area on google where you do show up, but I have to hunt a little bit. Has been awhile since I've corresponded with ya's & I'm happy to hear things are going basically well for ya's. When I owned my machine shop, it was the same way, some months business was off the charts, while other months I found myself scrambling for work, even laying off some workers until things picked up. Me and Shyann are hanging in there. You guys take care, and safe trucking.......
That makes us so sad that TH-cam does that to us. I have heard some folks say if the unsubscribe then re subscribe they started getting emails again.

Load 1 is percentage based like Landstar. 70%. I don't think I could go back to a flat rate, well never say never. Love to have the pods that's some I haven't tried the ones I have fall out all the time.

Hey FYI, I was pulled over in Iowa a few months back. It was like two weeks before all the new HOS took effect. The trooper had me transmit my logs to his vehicle and then had me come sit with him while he looked. He stated he wanted to see if my ELD was in compliance with the new update they were all supposed it do. He showed me where on my log is showes when the parking break is engaged or disengaged and for how long. He also showed me that it shows truck movement and for how many feet it moved. He also showed me that I was still in the sleeper while all this happened on my logs. With the new update to the ELDs, it now tracks these things. He said he wasn't going to fine me, but wanted to for warn me about it so I could make corrections with my actions in the next few weeks when it all went active. Some of it was when I creeping out of docks and some was creeping to better spots. Just wanted to put this out there to let drivers know. They can see this on your digital logs... Transmit them to your email and take a look see.

@@TheCraftyTruckerI was pretty surprised too. You can email your logs to your own email just like you would with the DOT except use your email instead of theirs in the the box. I transmit them quite often. Check and see if its on there. If I remember correctly it shows, "Truck movement X feet" in the remarks.
