Growing up in Kabale is one of the hardest things owing to the fact that even getting what to eat is hard. As a kid I loved listening to SHAKA who transformed me from feeling my Kabale coldness to dreaming great. As am now 29, I would wish to one day meet not only my Village mate but also my ROLE MODEL. I remember every-time SHAKA was on straight talk of Africa, I could fight with my Dad who wanted to listen to the news and one day had to run with the radio so that I can listen to my inspiration. Tears of Joy are on our faces the people of Kabale for the two decades of Listening to our Village-mate and can assure you SHAKA our hopes are alive. Don't get bitter but better, and remember to keep the African hopes alive😀😀😀😀

This is indeed an incredibly amazing MILESTONE...20 whole years of Straight Talk Africa and still counting!!! Many CONGRATULATIONS to the whole production team, the team that we FANS never get to see, the co-hosts, management and staff at VOA, I respectfully salute you. To all the guests who have been on the various shows over the years protocol observed, thank you...... Ndugu Shaka Sir, kindly allow me to take this opportunity to further Congratulate you for the major milestone! Many have been inspired, motivated, educated and changed through your knowledgeable and in-depth conversations coupled with your photographic memory of events and issues as you interact with your guests, seeking for the truth on the issues at hand concerning Africa. Issues in a bid to promote social, political and economic Justice and change for all. And in this special edition of STA you get to be the guest on your own show - I have enjoyed the show, thank you all who have contributed to it's content, Ndugu Peter Clottey thank you for hosting this great and indeed special edition of the STA show where you have basically presented to us the journey of the "Kabale Kid" Ndugu Shaka Ssali. And even as he takes us through his journey, he can't help but inspire us with the - "Shakaism" quotes. The Legendary Kwame Nkuruma once said..."I am not African because I was born in Africa but because Africa was born in me" .....Africa was indeed born in Shaka, this may have been your calling. You are indeed an Awesome Son of Africa. Congratulations indeed!
