The moment where Elliot got run over by a car in the original Friday the 13th video (as karma for the original L.A. Noire video) is one of my favorite moments in SGB. Seeing them do this game again is making me giddy. Also I'm still hard from Insomniac Spider-Man 2. All 19 inches of Venom indeed.
Kinda glad Elliot decided to show off the offline “story mode” of the game since we all know… F13’s loading screens take 4 hours long. Edit: To add onto John’s comment, probably my favourite Friday was either Part 2 or Part 4 (4 mostly because George McFly’s actor was in the movie)
Favorite Friday the 13th movies are; Part 6 Jason lives, Part 4 the Final Chapter, the Remake(reboot) Freddy vs Jason, Part 2 and Jason X. Those are the ones i have the most fun watching. Least Favorites are Part 8, Part 7 and Jason goes to Hell
You guys wanna hear my idea of a Jason goes to Hell revision? Basically it starts out the same way, with the Government gunning down Jason...EXCEPT; The entire story from that point on is now about Jason, and him having to crawl out of Hell, face the many undead teenagers he killed, fight Demons, both metaphorically and literally, and the Devil himself, taking his Pitchfork as a trophy. (With it ending with Jason looing like "Savini Jason") Basically, its like Dante's Inferno...cept the Main Character is a Silent Slasher Movie Villain with Mom Issues.
Lovin' these 13 nights of pre-Halloween ( there now no one can sue) shenanigans. favorite Friday the 13th parts 1-4 and the remake. freddy v jason was also good by simply being ridiculous.
The SGB Twitter said they'd be doing a 13 night Halloweenfest and they'll be playing different horror themed games each night until the 31st(it started the 18th)
Jason X is the only movie I have not watched yet. I also didn't really binge watch like you guys on the fact that I was still a kid, but I found all of them awesome and extremely funny.
I’ve seen every Friday the 13th aside from the reboot, and as someone who was never especially compelled by the story or scared by the horror, Part 6 hits the right balance of satirizing the well trodden formula while still playing it just straight enough. As for least favorite, I don’t know how hot a take this is, but I’d have to go 9, not fir being completely devoid of strengths(though I wouldn’t exactly say the list is glowingly high) but fir just feeling so completely and utterly detached from Friday the 13th as I’d come to know it. Which wouldn’t necessarily be a deal breaker… if I enjoyed what we wound up with. Which, outside of that opening, I can’t say I do.
It's been so long since I watched any of the movies. So I'll go for the one I still remember to this day which is the Freddy vs Jason movie, as outside the ping pong sound effect there were some good moments like Jason being afraid of the water in the dream world.
My god, these kills... this is what makes games like this so amusing. Just because of how much they kick the piss out of the seriousness of the game. 🤣😆 See I wish this game had the solo mode from the start or at least it came out at an earlier time, I would have picked up the game back then. But oh well, at least we got it. Though, a shame that the online is dead for this game, it looked like a great time before. At least this can serve as a lesson for the future of online games. 🤔
The kills are way more brutal than that kiddie shit in dead by daylight seriously those kills are weak there’s no gore, and it doesn’t even feel like there’s any impact compared to Friday the 13th.
It's a shame this game is dead now but that's kind of what happens to any game that has a primary multiplayer aspect to it, it just doesn't last. It's good of the devs to at least put something in so people who liked playing the game had at least something to play on it though, that much you don't see often.
I've actually only recently started the series, watching the first one for the first time (to the excitement of my mother). I ended up liking it more than I thought I would, since it wasn't too obscenely gory (to me at least). The only thing I didn't like about the movie was the fact that they actually killed a snake in one scene.
Absolutely love Friday the 13th. Favorite for the longest time was the first one, but also a big fan of 6 and 7. Least favorite is Jason takes manhattan.
I would say that my favorite Friday the 13th movie is probably either Part 3, or Part 8, and my least favorite is Part 9, followed very closely behind by Part 5
to answer john's question yes i have seen all the friday the 13th movies and part 4/6/7 and reboot will always be my favorite one well mostly the reboot just cause how terrifying they made jason in the movie especially the sleeping bag burning death
Friday the 13th is my favorite of the big slasher franchises, mostly because it's just mindless entertainment. Even at their worst, I know Friday the 13th will keep me entertained. Also my favorite movie is part 6, and my least favorite would be part 7.
My favorite Friday the 13th movie would be... Never Hike In the Snow lol On a serious note I'm always was a big Jason fan as a kid despite never watching the movies and only saw Freddy Vs. Jason. But now that I'm older and watched these movies I am comfortable to say this is probably my favorite slasher series next to Child's Play or just Chucky. While I'll admit Nightmare on Elm Street had the better characters at least till the third movie; I'm also fascinating the ones in Friday the 13th because it's one of three ways, either dull, ok enough to follow them, or absolute nut jobs that leave an impression. As for actual favorite and least favorite I'm probably going with Part 4 or 6 as favorite. Part 8 is absolutely my least favorite for its weak kills (thanks, MPPA), the pacing was horrible, the characters I just don't give a shit at all, and when they get to "New York" it's a bit underwhelming althou I understand why that happened, but I will give the movie credit that it has the best kill with the boxer. Overall I think the movie's ambitions could have been great but the execution and the studio giving them a low budget was not well implemented and it's painful boring. More so than the first movie. If I was younger I would say Part 5 was my least favorite cause of how fucking bizarre it is but then it really grew on me and I actually enjoy Part 5 a lot. It's a terrible Friday the 13th but it doesn't bore me for how utterly doesn't give a shit attitude it gives us. It's great to see this game again in the channel minus the car incident and it's a shame this game got fucked by the whole Cunningham and Miller law battle and that fans blame on the devs for letting the game to die when in reality they didn't have any legal right to continue, but at least the publisher are still are active with this type of gamestyle and made a new Texas Chainsaw Massacare game which I heard it's decent. I could talk for hours about these movies but one more thing I wanna bring attention are the Never Hike Alone fan film series, there are basically Friday the 13th fan films that began in 2017 with Never Hike Alone and then it gotten two follow ups, Never Hike In the Snow from 2020 which is a prequel and the latest one that came out this month called Never Hike Alone 2. If you love Friday the 13th I highly recommend them cause they are well made, well shot, well written, has good special effects, and they even bring back actors from the old movies to reprise their roles but I won't say who cause the reveals are amazing.
"we're gonnagive you everything cause we're closingthe servers" Oh gee, maybe something that Twisted Metal could've done. Sony/Eat Sleep Play: "Duuuuurrrrrr we coulddd'veeee?" Also, something I've realized as a non-horror fan. I prefer Friday the 13th, Halloween, and nightmare on Elm Street over stuff like Scream and Terrifier cause those three don't change the killer over the series (Minus Friday going from Pamela in Part 1 to Jason in Part 2 onwards) unlike Scream and don't feel like a crappy 13 year old edgelord wrote it like Terrifier.
So, in terms of the movies, I think the reboot was alright, having Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) helped, and at least Jason didn't teleport everywhere. Yeah, him just being able to teleport everywhere from Part 6 onwards really doesn't sit well with me, if anything, it gives me a reason to hate that character. For someone like say, Nightcrawler from X-Men, it would make sense for him to teleport to get to another location faster, or hell, it'd be more on brand with Freddy since he operates in the dream world, so he can just do whatever he wants. Jason's apparent teleportation skill is still left unexplained, and I just feel like it doesn't work with him. Yes, I really think that was a bad inclusion.
To answer that one question, I'm currently watching the series, atm I have the 2nd movie on hold. The first movie... the first hour felt so boring and then the last 30 minutes were amazing. Not looking forward to whenever I reach 5... The negative fame that has is big enough that I dread it, pat of me wants to skip it but I know that I'll end up watching it regardless...
Favorite: Freddy vs. Jason and Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (the "true" sequel to Part IV which I also thought was good) Least favorite: Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (this movie is just skippable "filler")
It is sad that this game won’t be supported anymore, if only all that legal BS didn’t happen fuck that guy who tried to claim everything related to Friday the 13th, when the only thing he technically did was write the first movie’s story I think?
Hmm So many uploads lately Smackdown Sunday Halloween fest and Majoras Mask. Sometimes 2 videos a day but still no movement on finishing Final Fantasy VII and Spider-Man 2 huh 😒🙄
37:49 "My body was sore, I was sweating buckets because-DO I LOOK LIKE A FIT MOTHERFUCKER?" Jason Voorhees apparently 2023
24:54 Jason: I'ma plant me a dumbass tree
Let's hope Elliot watches out for cars this time.
Cole Phelps, Traffic
Cole Phelps is the driver and he can’t hear you because he’s got his AirPods in
Nor does he care cause he sees you came from a hotdog stand.@@Spider-Complexion
And scooby doo chases sequences
XD
24:50. Lol! Major highlight of the episode!
Ah yes, the game that gave us some of the best hilarity on this channel back in 2017.
Watching for 5 minutes until realizing Matt’s not here
Jason: ugh. Look guys, I'm not feeling it so I'm just going let you go, cool? Cool.
Halloween fest really is one of the best times of the year for SGB
Dude this is a treat I remember watching this back in 2017. Man that was back in high school for me crazy how time flies. We all miss you guys.
1:19 Now that is something I appreciate companies doing.

Also I'm still hard from Insomniac Spider-Man 2. All 19 inches of Venom indeed.
On one hand, Tony Todd voicing Venom is such an amazing casting choice.
_On the other hand..._

Jason Takes Manhattan is, unironically, my favorite.
Least favorite, A New Beginning.

We've come full circle, the original video got me into this game and what better way to send it off?
NES Jason is basically just Matt Mcmuscles.
At least Elliot didn't mowed down by a car on accident
20:02
i haven't watched the movies but I dressed as Jason for Halloween this year.
18:44
The problem I have with final destination is I when I hear it i don't think of the movie series I think of the smash stage.
CAR! CAR!
The driver is Cole Phelps and he can’t hear you because he’s got his AirPods in
This was actually Thursday the 12th Jason. He's not quite ready for his shift and doesn't want to wind himself for actual Friday.
24:51 saving this for later.
Lovin' these 13 nights of pre-Halloween ( there now no one can sue) shenanigans. favorite Friday the 13th parts 1-4 and the remake. freddy v jason was also good by simply being ridiculous.
For you guys returning on a "we'll upload whatever whenever' schedule, you sure are more active than ever!
The SGB Twitter said they'd be doing a 13 night Halloweenfest and they'll be playing different horror themed games each night until the 31st(it started the 18th)
That spring was perfectly timed
7:45 he will 100% have gotten owed on turning him around like that
26:29
I appreciate the Kung Pow reference.
Im such a F13 nut that hearing them trying to remember a title or fact or hearing Elliot call part 6 “Jason Returns” drove me crazy XD
We are SO back
Jason X is the only movie I have not watched yet. I also didn't really binge watch like you guys on the fact that I was still a kid, but I found all of them awesome and extremely funny.

don't worry, hating Part 9 isn't a hot take. everyone agrees its bad and not even the director or writer knew what F13 was.
@@AnAverageGoblin
Right, that was the first release under NewLine, wasn’t it?
@@RedKing12000 I think? not sure. remembering company names have never been my strong point lol
This is going to be really fun!
It's been so long since I watched any of the movies. So I'll go for the one I still remember to this day which is the Freddy vs Jason movie, as outside the ping pong sound effect there were some good moments like Jason being afraid of the water in the dream world.
You can still do online matches. They announced that the servers won't get shut down til December 31st 2024
The remake is my favorite F13 movie too
Remember the car, good times.

It only didn’t last because of the legal bullshit with Friday the 13th it wasn’t the dev’s fault get your facts right
Uh oh.. What if Elliot is playing as JASON and he gets run over??
Halloween fest came back with a vengeance this year
When is Uncle gonna be added into the channel's graphics and art
Love the channel but this has bothered me for so long 😭

Elliot seriously needs to stop yelling about things that don’t need to be yelled at Jesus Christ…
It has to be either the 2009 remake or part 7
Jason Lives, The New Blood, and The remake is my favorite
to answer john's question yes i have seen all the friday the 13th movies and part 4/6/7 and reboot will always be my favorite one well mostly the reboot just cause how terrifying they made jason in the movie especially the sleeping bag burning death
Jason Voorhees as William Afton

Probably no blood in the water cause he broke her neck.
Never going to have Ghost Jason
Despite my icon, I have only seen the first Friday the 13th and Freddy vs Jason.
That Part 7 face reveal is my favorite face reveal of Jason (as an undead)
My favorite Friday the 13th movie would be... Never Hike In the Snow lol

4 to the 4th is tesseract.
Always liked Jason X because it was my first Friday movie and I don't care about quality in movies, I like the action. I'm simple like that
8:55
Best friday movie is Jason x, fight me
No Savini Jason? Bummer. NES Jason was cool though.
