I know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the password. I love any help you can give me.
@Finnegan Joshua I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Great video Honda ATC 250SX 👍. You sound like me bought another Honda ATC last year just now getting in the shop lol. It's the thrill of the hunt snagging these old Honda ATC's up cheap and getting them back to running smoothly again. Thanks for sharing.
Thank You for the vid , I have been mulling over getting an ATC for winter trail maint . Had thought about a Big Red , but remembering the 250 SX , I like some of the features to the SX . I hope to find one . THANX . !
Thanks for the upload and info, as I have the same 3 wheeler and need to do some work on it. This was very helpful and good work. God bless you and take care!
Enjoyed the video and many of your others. One note about your oil change. Honda recommends NOT screwing the oil fill cap down when checking the oil level. Just let the cap rest freely on the threads. You may need to recheck your oil level.
Thanks Rick! I own so many engines it’s tough to remember which ones have the dipstick threaded in for measuring and which don’t. Honestly it was at the highest point within range. “Close enough” That’s between you and me though 😉. I hadn’t turned the engine over yet so I knew it would go down once the oil filter got its fill. Thanks for your correction though.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video, I just purchased a sweet barn find 1985 Honda atv 250sx In great shape and will fallow every step you did before I ride it thank you.
🤔 that’s strange. The one I bought came with the petcock and a blue colored fuel line. Both were the same inside diameter as the carbs brass nipple. You might want to look into a different petcock.
Throttle opened or closed for compression testing, it doesn't matter. It may be off a few points one way or the other. Good work, really liked the video, subbed and I'm hunting for one myself.
I had a pop up disclaimer for the oil. Did it not pop up? Was supposed to say “Use motorcycle oil for wet clutch and don’t screw the oil dipstick in when checking oil level.”
Hello this video is so helpfull thank you, im just starting a restore project on the same atc, could you let me know where you ordered your seatcover from? Thanks!
How many bolts and what kind hold on the gas tank and back plastic I bought one but it’s missing the bolts for that and what size is the nuts for the muffler studs
What would I do if I want to put a bigger mud tire on the front of the atc would I need to get a special tire I just bought one so I'm new o this whole three wheel game
I've restored a few of these old bikes 4 Honda's and 1 Yamaha. Looking for another one but people are asking stupid prices now. I get it there rare but they're not that rare that people are asking $1500 for 1 with a seized engine and completely clapped out.
Badass the 250sx is a cross between the 250es big red and the 200x awesome ATC check out our channel we have riding videos like subscribe and share please we are trying to build our youtube channel more videos coming soon help us grow
The big red exhaust on eBay works. But you have to cut the tab on the frame supposedly and it will bolt right up. They talk about it on 3wheelerworld.com
It’s not pretty. There are two ugly big holes for rack mounts. And I’m sure shipping would be pricey. I don’t need it, but not sure it’s worth the hassle of shipping.
Close Enough Creations Hey thanks for the fast reply. I have a rack so the holes aren’t a problem. Send me an e-mail at intertek33@outlook.com and we can correspond further. Thanks -Matt
You're supposed to use motorcycle oil for the additives the clutch needs, not for the engine itself... Regular car engine oil does not have the right additives.
Weird people out there. Why would you want to use vaseline when you can use bearing grease that under heat will melt and flush down with oil? Do you know the chemical reaction of vaseline when it's mixed with oil and exposed to heat? Noo!!
It’s a UNI filter. www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Uni-NU-4063ST-Air-Filter-Honda-ATC-250-SX-250R-FOURTRAX-FREE-SHIP-/151949195186?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m2548.l6249&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0

The sound of that engine brings back a lot of memories.
It's nice to actually see some new 2000's trike videos in HD lol

Thanks for the video. Just starting to restore mine. I got it when I was a kid. I have had it for 27 yrs.
Nice video and music. Just bought a 85 250SX and will use the info here. Very helpful. Thanks!
Glad it helped you out! Congrats on your 250SX, they are amazing machines.
Grew up with a Honda 90, have a 200M now. Still having fun!😁 Ride ON!
Nice trike and video bro! I just picked up an 85 250sx myself. Things a blast!
man, these little bikes were so much fun

That is a nice trike, man! I plan on getting a Honda 250SX one day.

Your welcome, enjoy the SX, they are awesome!
Thanks a lot just bought one and wanted to do some maintenance on it this helped alot.
I like working on these old Hondas restoring and bringing them back to there glory great video.
Where you at? Wanna work on mine?
Be careful using regular oil, the clutches may start to slip, that why motorcycle oil is recommended.
Yeah, actually I had a disclaimer that use to pop up during the oil change that said. “Ignore me, use motorcycle oil” lol. Not sure where it went.
Love it! Great thorough work on the mechanics.
Great video. Thanks. I have a 1985 250sx and I need info to get mine up and running so I can sell it.
Enjoyed the video, nice filming ! Looks like a good rider for sure. 👍🙂
Thanks for watching!
I'll be around the channel from now on. 3wheeler are the best.
another tip ok getting that spring to stay in place is jack it up on its side
Great video.. i also bought a plastic tank.. seems like the petcock valve is smaller than the carb inlet in mine

I sure miss mine I sold it for cheap years ago, wish I had kept it.
Good video and nice bike. The choice of oil was wrong though.
I had a pop up disclaimer for the oil. Did it not pop up? Was supposed to say “Use motorcycle oil for wet clutch and don’t screw the oil dipstick in when checking oil level.”
Nice work dude! I have 4 sxs and they are my favorite trike besides the 70. Those exhaust bolts did not look like fun, good job!
Hello this video is so helpfull thank you, im just starting a restore project on the same atc, could you let me know where you ordered your seatcover from? Thanks!
1. Oil dipstick is not threaded in to check level, just dipped in
2. K&N filter oil is for gause not foam filters
Looks and sounds great.
nice, im workin on one .
To be honest there’s not much 250sx videos on TH-cam I got a 86 a few months ago for 300$ and just got a free seized 85 complete just missing the tank
300? Smoking deal.
Where did he order the seat cover replacement
How many bolts and what kind hold on the gas tank and back plastic I bought one but it’s missing the bolts for that and what size is the nuts for the muffler studs
Great video
Thank you!
👍👍👍
#makeatcsgreatagain
Confirmed: Bacon grease will work in lieu of vasoline
I need a back fender so bad for mine but I cant see spending 350 on a new
I feel you them atc plastcs are not cheap
Just replaced all the plastics on my 85 350x with aftermarket, about $450 for all of them, looks good.
Awsome video!!! Nice job!!!
What would I do if I want to put a bigger mud tire on the front of the atc would I need to get a special tire I just bought one so I'm new o this whole three wheel game
I respect that you know what your doing but i do have a concern aren’t you supposed to wear gloves when welding? 13:45.
Typically yes. If I am doing a lot of welding I will use gloves. On quick welds I sack up and take it. 😂
where did you get the trailer hitch for the SX?
It came with it. I assume it is OEM.
Awesome job bro!

Do you have a link to that plastic gas tank? Thank you
How much do you want for it?
Does anyone know if there is one for sale?
How did you end up getting the exhaust apart? I have to get mine off in order to get the engine out and it’s rusted together good.
I used a pry bar as a chisel. Hammering on the back of the pry bar pushing the muffler off the header pipe.
Did you do that right at the coupling or further down the pipe somewhere?

Mostly eBay, is there anything specific you were wondering about?
I usually lean my bikes when I do the filter so the spring doesn't fall
Know where to find exhaust for one ? 85 250sx

If you can't drive a 3 wheeler safely you should not be issued a drivers license for driving an automobile ! My 2 cents
