Awesome Belt and awesome paint job. A little tip to help brush life is either mix paint with the butt end or use an old sacrificial brush or stir stick. The paint will get it the ferrule and bugger all the bristles up.
I am obsessed with leather and want to learn all the things,if the stuff wasn’t so expensive!I have made custom hey dudes and one bag but I have to buy one tool at a time and then save for the leather!
Aaron can you do a tutorial on How you carved this ? Please these style of belts are supper popular here in Nevada right now and I would like to learn this
Indelible was already struggling to find more sales outlets and Covid shut down many of their current clients... so it could only float so long before it sank.
Saddle shops usually have a lot of scrap. We have whole ones. I started using a whole one some years ago... 3 square inches at a time makes it last a looong time.
@lesanderson2791 because I wear one everywhere I go. Normally in public it is covered by my shirt, but since I'm a fat guy I tuck my shirt behind it at the shop.

Weather your a beginner or advanced you never stop learning. You do a very good job on all the leather projects you show. Thank you for your time.
Absolutely Gorgeous!!! I love sunflowers and use them a lot in my tooling.

I love it. Just curious where are the snaps for the buckle and holes going to go?
I'm not a fan of snaps, I use Chicago screws.
@@makersleathersupply1220 I will have to try them. Are you going to punch through the pattern though?
@@pikes_design7332 yes
@@makersleathersupply1220 thank you 😊
Thanks for the video. I haven't had a chance to use what I bought. Have you used it on chrome tanned leather like garment leather?
Yessir. Painted it on several types.
Have you thought about using a drinking straw to dispense you thinner?
I have not but that would work great!
Aaron that is a Bad A belt brother!!!!
Out of curiosity, what happened with Indelible? I really liked their product. Haven't checked out the Alpha 6 line, though.
Indelible was already struggling to find more sales outlets and Covid shut down many of their current clients... so it could only float so long before it sank.
Shame. Thank you for the reaponse!
When using the thinners why not use a syringe? Saves spillages
@lesanderson2791 no reason not to. I'm just lazy and don't get out more stuff. Ha ha ja
How long do you let the antique set before you apply the resoline? Nice work looks great
A few hours will do
Where do you buy the sheepskin at ?

Oh man, i need a belt that looks almost just like that
You look nice without a cap. Why do you wear one all the time?
Old military habits die hard. Also keeps the sweat from falling on my workbench.
Why do you wear a pistol in your workshop?
@lesanderson2791 because I wear one everywhere I go. Normally in public it is covered by my shirt, but since I'm a fat guy I tuck my shirt behind it at the shop.
Man what y'all got against Idaho?
