Honestly I died laughing when someone asked them, "Will you release an album in English?" And Namjoon was all like, *"That's the question?"*. Yes, Joonie, SLAY.
True, I mean look at the smiles on their faces. They always feel bored when they go to other interviews in the US, since the only question the US interviewers know is "Who's your celebrity crush?" 😒. i really appreciate this interviewer for doing small things to make bts laugh and just feel more comfortable. like him having their pictures on his notes/cue cards, calling himself an army, going along with jimin's little 'next step' gag, and of course giving them personalized pastries at the end. its just so so appreciated to see our boys smiling and happy because of an actively engaged interviewer.
Also the questions. Some of Liam's questions are so profound and they're well researched. It allows Namjoon to really give such profound answers as well. They're not questions like, "What about dating?" or "Who's your favorite actress?" They're all generic questions. Liam's questions let the viewer actually get to know the brain and artistic thought process behind their music and concept. I love it!
Chelsea and Liam should make all the US interviews, they do their research and as far as I know are the only two that knew about Hobi's mixtape. Besides BTS seem genuinely comfortable with them in contrast with the unprepared onces.

I'm just so thankful for the real interviewer here. Asking the real questions, the important questions, and not filling in any uncomfortableness with laughing. Its great that the boys seem comfortable with him, and were able to spread the meaning of the group and their music, not just what western stuff they like.

5:59 the funny thing is that they’re all laughing about the idea of them performing at the Grammys like “that’s ridiculous that would never happen” but the interviewer then saying “watch, it’s definitely gonna happen”, along the lines of, “the possibility is there”. And it did. I will never have enough appreciation for BTS for staying down to earth, genuine people, as who they are.💜
Honestly, I cried when Jimin said what they wanted to be remembered for. They have made so many people's lives better. They have gotten me out of a lit of hard times too. We ARMY's love them and they love us. Thank you BTS! Fighting!

I can tell they have all been working hard to learn more English. They are not obligated to learn English especially with how hard they are already working but they want to communicate with us. They really put their all into every thing they do. I know learning a new language is not easy and that it can be hard to get your true feelings across speaking in a foreign language. I think all of them are doing a great job. The love BTS has for army is so beautiful. We don’t deserve these seven wonderful men.

to say it is a "choice" is a bit :// though. like they kind of dont have a choice. it''s either speaking in english or having kind of awkward interviews since they for some god damn reason can't fix them a korean interviewer. i mean it's not like there aren't any koreans in america lol. it's just so typical west to have everyone else to adapt themselves to western standards. i totally understand that english is necessary to learn if they want to make it big in west but i just find it really sad. speaking english or westernize themselves shouldn't be a requirement which it sadly enough is. we have been able to read subtitles and i think many asian-americans and poc in america in general would be happy to have someone to represent them, normalizing speaking a language besides english. i just wish they could speak their native tongue and STILL be as appreciated and as successful. but yes, im very proud of them. they're working really hard and it's not easy to learn english when you're speaking a language from the other side of the continent. but for real......... they are asians. they are poc. the least west can do is to at least let a few asians get representation. it's as if a really big gay group would come but all the interviewers and hosts would be straights even though we all know there's so many lgbt+ out there waiting for representation.
I think that is totally necessary learn a new language , more now than they are growing up like a international band, so they are going to have more interviews or appearances on international tv, I know that is not easy to learn a new language ,I say this from own experience because I speak spanish, and sometimes is very frustrating not being able to communicate the way you do in your native language, So i think that is necessary for them at this stage of his career that have to learn english , not now ( they are working to hard) but maybe in a future. I'm just so thankful for the real interviewer here. Asking the real questions, the important questions, and not filling in any uncomfortableness with laughing. Its great that the boys seem comfortable with him, and were able to spread the meaning of the group and their music, not just what western stuff they like.

5:59 the funny thing is that they’re all laughing about the idea of them performing at the Grammys like “that’s ridiculous that would never happen” but the interviewer then saying “watch, it’s definitely gonna happen”, along the lines of, “the possibility is there”. And it did. I will never have enough appreciation for BTS for staying down to earth, genuine people, as who they are.💜

I can tell they have all been working hard to learn more English. They are not obligated to learn English especially with how hard they are already working but they want to communicate with us. They really put their all into every thing they do. I know learning a new language is not easy and that it can be hard to get your true feelings across speaking in a foreign language. I think all of them are doing a great job. The love BTS has for army is so beautiful. We don’t deserve these seven wonderful men.

to say it is a "choice" is a bit :// though. like they kind of dont have a choice. it''s either speaking in english or having kind of awkward interviews since they for some god damn reason can't fix them a korean interviewer. i mean it's not like there aren't any koreans in america lol. it's just so typical west to have everyone else to adapt themselves to western standards.
i totally understand that english is necessary to learn if they want to make it big in west but i just find it really sad. speaking english or westernize themselves shouldn't be a requirement which it sadly enough is. we have been able to read subtitles and i think many asian-americans and poc in america in general would be happy to have someone to represent them, normalizing speaking a language besides english. i just wish they could speak their native tongue and STILL be as appreciated and as successful.
but yes, im very proud of them. they're working really hard and it's not easy to learn english when you're speaking a language from the other side of the continent. but for real......... they are asians. they are poc. the least west can do is to at least let a few asians get representation. it's as if a really big gay group would come but all the interviewers and hosts would be straights even though we all know there's so many lgbt+ out there waiting for representation.
I think that is totally necessary learn a new language , more now than they are growing up like a international band, so they are going to have more interviews or appearances on international tv, I know that is not easy to learn a new language ,I say this from own experience because I speak spanish, and sometimes is very frustrating not being able to communicate the way you do in your native language, So i think that is necessary for them at this stage of his career that have to learn english , not now ( they are working to hard) but maybe in a future. I hope you can understand my idea! regards!
