    I know this will be unpopular, but I have red quite à few things about her and wanted to raise some questions:
    1)she has male chromosomes but ambiguous genitalia:doesn't that make her physiologically more similar to a male athlète?
    2)what makes you a woman/Man? AdN or phoenotype?
    3)her condition does or doesn't in your opinión give her an unfair advantage over other female runners that have the right to shine as well?

      She is intersex. Her parents chose the wrong sex for her. She is clearly leaning more on the male side.
      This is why some parents raise their kids are nonbinary today bc they have more information.

    So athletes are not allowed to take drugs to up their testosterone, but they have to take drugs to lower them? What an insane rule. What's next, people who are tall will not be allowed to play basketball because they have an advantage?! It's a natural advantage, it's not like she's cheating.

      Caster is not like any other woman. Caster has the external genitalia of a woman but no uterus or ovaries . Caster has internal testicles. Caster has XY chromosomes. It is called testicular feminization syndrome.

    • @kaizenpsy8259
      @kaizenpsy8259 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      To participate in the women’s devision with XY Chromosoms is fair in your opinion? And yes it is not allowed to take steroids like testosterone because it gives you an unfair advantage, when you have the advantage already because you are genetically a guy you should rather start in men’s devision.

    Watching this a year later I still do not understand why people are so cruel. I mean Bolt beats everyone in every race he is in, breaks his own records continuously and yet nobody said he must change and that it is unfair. This is absolute BS! Hands of our golden girl, I hope this gets fixed and she takes all those medals at Tokyo .

    • @fraufuchs9555
      @fraufuchs9555 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Bolt has 46XY chromosomes and competes against other people with 46XY chromosomes, who are able to produce as much testosterone as he does. Caster has 46XY chromosomes and competes against 46XX chromosomes, she is able to produce 10 times more testosterone than any woman with 46XX chromosomes. She's biologically a man, with external genitals that look female but internal testicles. She had a male puberty, which allowed her to have bones, muscles and lungs like a man. Can you understand the difference? The reason why it was created a category only for woman in sports is that they can have a chance to win, what wouldn't happen if man and woman competed together (biological males and females). But if people with XY chromosomes and male levels of testosterone are allowed to compete against people with XX chromosomes and female levels of testosterones, then there isn't even a reason to have a female category in first place.
      Caster would still be allowed to compete in woman's category if she reduced her testosterone levels, but she just refuses to do so.

      The IOC and other governing bodies are wrongly focusing on one athlete: Semenya. Also, wheels are simply spinning in-the-moment; no one seems concerned about women's sport in the distant future. Now, trans and other intersex women are trickling into women's events, and being targeted as individuals. Two trans, and two (or one open) intersex division(s) must be established, before the trickle becomes a full-on flood that drowns female athletes and stigmatizes anomalous participants.

    • @tsheamosefoloshe2232
      @tsheamosefoloshe2232 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@fraufuchs9555 The focus is just on Semenya and not the science behind. There has been female athletes before her who had the same situation and it was not an issue. Why should she take drugs to compete while athletes before her never did? Honestly there can be many explanations as to why she should, however it will never justify what they are doing to her that's it. They are simply doing this because it's not benefiting their own preference of who deserves to "keep winning". Please google who holds the 800m records at the Olympics and ask yourself why should Caster take these drugs yet the current record holder did not have too. Have a good day.

    Caster I support you and think you are an inspiration. But please tell the truth about your DSD condition, many women struggle when they discover in adulthood they have a DSD condition and often it can arise when they struggle to have a baby. Your body cannot process testosterone so despite being born with a male Chromosome norm (46 XY) your body can't process the testosterone properly so you developed into a beautiful woman because we all derive from two gametes from our parents and our developmental path is controlled by hormones switching on and off at the right time.
    If you were 46 XX with high testosterone (say an ovarian cyst gave you it) the rule would not affect you and you could run.
    If the Rule was applied across every sport it would be fine because no one would be targeted. But it isn't, as you rightly say they have singled you out and that is unjust.
    You are a proud Pedi woman and loved by your nation. That will never go away, we see the grace you conduct yourself with and we hold you up to our daughters as a role model.
    Best of luck with your fight and career.

When Martina was beating everyone and those Russian juiced up runners were bigger than men they were called great phenoms. Not sure why they are picking on her because she is also a phenom. I am hoping she is making money from her fame and living a great life. She will get old and someone will come along and beat her in a race and she will retire eventually. Clearly you are racist. Caster is my home girl. She is a girl, have been a girl from childhood and she's a hard worker. If she never worked as hard she wouldn't be the best. Like Jordan, Messi, Serena Williams, Tiger woods. The system is putting racial discrimination and I can lecture you about how it works.

      @@dakalomatambele9106 You don't know what you are talking about. The Rules ONLY apply to people with XY Chromosomes. The three African women affected by the Rules all have male chromosomes but their bodies can only partially use the testosterone they produce - that means they have a DSD (intersex). The IAAF ruled that if someone with XY Chromosomes, who is legally a woman (Caster has a birth certificate to say she is a woman, and she can use at least some of the testosterone she can produce, then she needs to limit that testosterone to a set level or she cannot run. She refuses to take the medicine to limit her testosterone. Nothing to do with colonialism. Nothing to do with you falsely calling black and Indian people racists because we know more of the facts than you.
      What is unfair is that the Rule only targets the couple of races Caster runs in and mentioned that she would run in (1500) so it looks very much like she was targeted.
