Just got mine today and I LOVE IT! I've always preferred the feel of the clicking on a mechanical keyboard, but this is just an absolute beauty. It's almost art. The keys feel great (It takes a little getting used to the key positioning from my old keyboard, so lots of backspace hits), but the copper, the wood trim and the leather. Wow. I have never seen a better looking keyboard, and I just love the way it feels to type on it. I find myself wanting to type and random things (like TH-cam comments) just to feel the keys click. If you have some extra cash laying around and want an absolute gem of a keyboard, this is the one. I have the Artisan model btw.
Interesting idea, I would fix only the sound, to more like a classic typewriter but with more lower sound level or even with some kind of a feedback/vibrating
Hi there Just got the retro classic and was not being able to switch the backlit mode on my iMac. I wasn't being able to find any information on that even on Azio website.
I would say it depends on what keyboard you are coming from. For me, as an example, I am coming from the Logitech G915. Needless to say, yes my typing speed has slowed down. My wrist snd fingers hurt slightly. So, there is a tradeoff (aesthetics vs production).
First time I see a steampunk style keyboard... love the design :)
