I remember they had said it was because living in the RV was more cost effective and they get to be on-site for the renovations. I just thought why an Airbnb wouldn’t have also been a good option considering the size of the family but lo and behold things just turned out this way eventually and I believe it’s a better call. Looking forward to them being able to branch out !!
I learnt a few things from this video. To accept the mistake that we make and not keep going with it and be in misery just to prove myself right. Not to worry too much about other people's judgement. Love you guys!

I have been catching up on some of your videos and just wanted to say what a wonderful thing you are doing for your kids. I grew up by a river and a spring fed creek. The memories are endless and now my kids get to spend time there to. There is nothing like it. Who wants to spend time on a tv screen when Gods screen is so beautiful. You look out the windows and instantly want to go outside. Love it
I totally understand your decision on selling the RV, it was a option when you guys started the renovation🏡 on your dream home. If they do have a Airbnb rental in your area, GO FOR IT just to have alittle more room to spread out!👍🏾
After that rough winter season thought you guys would have been over RV living. Hope you all would be able to move into your dream home soon praying for you guys.
I honestly could not have ever been in that tight of a space having that big of a family but you have really made the best of it!

I am certain you are doing the right thing! Whatever accommodation the interim brings before the house is ready to move into, it has to be better for you all than being squashed into such close quarters. It doesn't matter how loving a family is; that kind of constant physical proximity will put pressure on relationships that never existed previously. I speak as someone who grew up in a family of 11 [nine children born over a 16 year period].
P.S That tornado experience would have finished me off right there and then. I would never have felt safe in my 'home' again after that.

My family did the same thing. Living in a fifth wheel for 2 years while our house was being built. After that I never wanted to be in an RV again. But now my husband and I are planing our retirement with a RV traveling as far as we can go. SO THIS FEELING YOUR HAVING NOW MIGHT JUST CHANGE!
I remember when y'all purchased the RV. It's okay to change your minds. We all do it, at sometime in our lives. That's how we grow.

One of my favorite memories of my Grandma is on her backyard bench swing. She would sit and I would lay down, and fall asleep, she would just swing thru my whole nap. We always loved her swing!
I think you're going to look back on living in the RV with some great memories and stories to tell. You have done an AMAZING job of living together in a small space but if you're ready to bust out, nothing but love and support for the Miller Fam! And just think about how much everyone is going to deeply appreciate living in that beautiful house you're building. No mistakes here. The path you chose was perfect.

Suggestion: if you go with the open shelves buy extras of what you want to match. You will not find replacements easily a few years down the road (including white dishes) and then the open shelves no longer look great cause of the mismatches. I know. We are keeping a couple of open shelves but changing to upper cabinets for the rest to reduce visual clutter.
We have a Reflection. We love it. It is different being in the RV for two months but we always have a home to go home to. I would urge you to wait to sell it until you have had a couple of months in your new home. You MIGHT change you mind again. RV travel is wonderful..
It's really inspiring to see that after all theses year you faith is still strong if not stronger .I wish my faith was as strong as it once was

Mr. Miller, thank you for taking the time to chat with me on Saturday morning!! I have been out of my daily routine for about a month due to my best friend and coworker being in the hospital. I almost was hoping it was a looong dream. She went on to pass away and Saturday was her funeral. Well, I procrastinated the entire morning and and told myself after the Miller vlog, Im leaving for the funeral. Im usually telling myself, after the Miller Vlog, Im gettibg out of bed. As I walked out the door feeling encouraged after the video ended, I looked down the hall and was instantly excited and convinced that I was dreaming, because you were walking towards me....I thought there is no way, I just finished your video and you're directly in front of me. Im definitely dreaming...this is deja vu. Well I was not dreaming and my friend did pass, but I felt at peace after rambling on to you about how I enjoyed your videos and been watching your familys' journey since before your channel became popular. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for the positive content that you present. May God continue to bless you and your fam!! My apologies for the long message.

I couldn't live in a RV and there's four in our family I can see how tight it can get .I pray you can sale it at just the right time for you guys.
I think I've commented this before, but what you've done is a really valuable experience. I've had a couple of "opportunities" to step back from the "life to which I've become accustomed", and it sure does help you recognize the privileges you've had and appreciate them more.
I am glad you are happy with your decision. Maybe when the new buyer shows up to haul it away, your couch will arrive from the RV dealer. I imagine the proceeds can go toward the renovation of the other structure on the property and you can start your own Air BnB. Just a thought. 😊

Kudos to you to make a change in your temporary living dwelling to fit your family and lifestyle. It also teaches the kids it's also okay to make a change when things don't work out how you want it.

I was moving out of your RV after the tornado vlog! There is nothing wrong with trying something out and deciding it is not meant to be. Most regrets come from not trying at all. It must be a relief now to have made the the decision.
Hey Millers.....everyone looks so relaxed. My neice and her husband lived in a 5th wheel for a couple of years while they built their home. I'm so excited for you all and your dream house.....thanks for sharing your life. God bless you all.
Aww sorry to hear but like you say sometimes plans change once you live through it and see actually it's not as easy as we thought plus with the delays of the house, the bad weather and the tornado warning scared me tbh, so it makes sense to me! You're a big family and hats off to you all for sticking it out for as long as you have! I'm sure you've saved some money too which was the plan. ❤️❤️❤️

I only have 3 kids and the idea of being with two teenagers and an 11 year old in a tight space makes me shiver, lol. I’m all about traveling to hotels where I don’t have to cook and clean, that way the parents get a break too. Good luck!

It definitely was expected. Especially since kids need their own space and ability to spread out. The RV is great short term but long term it definitely would’ve driven me crazy.

I do not think your are crazy, it is part of growing into a new you. I believe that each move has a purpose, imagine how people who live in a car, a small mobile home, you will understand that frustration, or if someone has been in the process of getting an apartment or something bigger, you can say GOD is good, He will provide the exit, keep praying, do not loose faith. You guys are doing great, makes me si happy to hear that worship is something that will be back in your lives. Lets worship God with all our soul and heart. Love you family in Christ.
Someone stole my doors, and all the wire installation on the 1rst floor, I was furious, then I prayed and God gave me peace. Those who made that choise need Jeasus.

Hi, I guess the RV is cramped it is here too living in one room in a hotel. Families here with young children. The school bus comes here to pick them up. Well, to be fair, you did think your dream home wasn’t gonna take this long to be built. And so instead of spending money renting, you opted to buy the RV instead. But seeing how things have slowed up the past couple of months, I do understand the struggle.

Don’t blame you selling the RV. It’s a long season of cabin fever I’m sure! It must have been so special doing worship again. I was on the worship team for many years. I love to sing so much but unfortunately I am ill with lung issues and I can’t sing. Maybe one day I will have my voice back. If not here then definitely home in heaven!

The most important thing is there’s no regret. It’s not defeat but instead it’s just postponing/pausing the RV plan. I actually envy you guys how you still give your ideas/dream a try. I wish I could be like you guys. And your kids are the best. God bless!
I thought that might happen. I think after living in an RV so long, the novelty wears off and then it’s not so appealing for travelling in and staying in on holiday.

Wow! Can’t believe you didn’t get that couch. 😳😱 Travelling with my 2 kids when they were little in our 30 ft travel trailer was tight on vacation, although we all had our own individual sleeping quarters. My husband & I had our own bedroom & the girls had bunk beds. I can’t imagine living in a RV with a family as big as yours. 😳 It sure loses it’s novelty very quickly with being in cramped quarters like that every day. Well I didn’t think you would get rid of it but I don’t blame you makes a lot of sense!! I know I wouldn’t want to travel in it after living in it since November. Can’t wait to see what you do and what summer plans look like. Your kiddos must be out of school very soon. My twins don’t get out till June 16th. That’s fairly normal since we start school like the Wednesday prior to Labor Day. Keep us posted!!! Come to Maine for a bit this summer if it works out.

Franklin, TN is my second home. I go to hurricane mills and I come back with accent. Check out the Gospel Fest at the Loretta Lynn Ranch. So much history and it is a wonderful experience!
The RV is nice for sure but, I feel you being cramped in a small space with a lot of people and you feel like your on top of each other.
Come rain / snow being stuck inside. It we’ll be nice when you get your place done. It seems like things in general are slow now days. Good luck.

I know it's not me but I would be tempted to hang on to the RV as long as possible until the house is nearly ready. Especially if you aren't going to sell until the end of the summer because the price might not be as good as early next year. Even if you rent the house nearby it will be good to have a place to wait for deliveries or work in peace. Have a BBQ at your home etc.
I love that you didn't sugarcoat changing your minds. Nothing wrong with coming to a conclusion that you don't want to live and travel in an RV. We all make those "what was I thinking" decisions. I appreciate you keeping it real. I sure hope that you will be able to find some accommodations that will be more aligned with your big family.

I know I get tired of certain things, especially favorite foods if I have them over and over again and again then I have no interest in them.i can't imagine how your family have coped in such a small place for so long .especially your teens ,as they are at the age when they need both privacy and space. I can see how it would now take the joy of travelling in the same rv .if you rent one it will put a new twist on your travels if it's a different rv. I also wondered how you would be when you finally move into your amazing new home ,and if you still parked the rv on your property. It would definitely bring up some memories, some good some not so good .personally I think it's a good thing to move forward. You all have done so well in such tight quarters for so long .what ever you decide will be the best decision for both of you and your family. You're an amazing family thank you for sharing your adventures God bless 🤗
