Buses departing the South East Bus Festival | Saturday 6th April 2024

Disclaimer: This video looks slightly higher quality than usual because I took it on the phone of someone I went with due to mine being nearly out of charge. I also aplogize for the video randomly zooming out to .5 zoom a couple of times; my phone doesn't let me do that while taking a video, so I'm not used to it!

Here is a selection of buses departing the annual South East Bus Festival at Kent Showground in Maidstone, on Saturday 6th April 2024.
There was a long line of buses exiting from the back of the showground (buses were parked on concrete this year due to wet weather conditions). Each one probably took about half an hour to get out, which I can imagine was caused by a combination of balancing the load of buses and cars leaving, and joining the traffic on the A249.
I was filming in that spot between around 3:30pm and 5:00pm, and by the time I'd cleared the traffic around the M2 roundabout and turned around, the last buses were finally leaving at 5:30pm.
A very eventful day and the person I went with enjoyed it too, so I'm looking forward to going back next year.

Lewis Jackson was driving 6113, and Melvin Williams was Ainsley Stevens was driving 6709.
Also, 6113 replaced 6019 which was originally planned, but suffered a technical/mechanical issue.

I know you didn't capture it on here but I left on T1064 around 3 with ex Stagecoach London Dart 36358 tailing with us back to the storage yard in Surrey!
