Really informative thanks. I'm new to keeping Silver Dollars. In fact I'm waiting for my Blackberry Dollar coming today. I was surprised to see that huge oscar in there tho! I'd love one but I've only ever heard bad things.
I was wondering if you could give me some information on the tank you have, the size and the fish you have in there, as I can see you have an Oscar, rams, clown loach and a peacock cichlid, I think. I have silver dollars and would like to add others to the tank and the fish you have are what I've been looking at. Are the other fish hard to keep.
It's 550 UK litres. I have a pack of 6 CLs, an oscar, severum, electric blue acara and dollars. I did have a geo seveni which was stunning, but unfortunately it jumped out and passed away 😥 Care for the fish is relatively easy. The oscar eats a lot and creates lots of waste but has bags of personality and his colours change to reflect this. The CL are oddballs and are like water puppies. EBA are probably my favourite, love the colours and temperament.
Depending on where you go between £6-8 for Juveniles. Prices increase with the size of them. There are different colour variants which are slightly higher. Are you thinking of getting some?

I have a 286 litre tank and can I safely put in silver dollars, EBA and CL. Maybe even blood parrot cichlid, in the tank. Cheers
@@wishfulthinking7709 That would be a great combination. Some low level fish and uppers. The EBA will be the star of the show!
Thank you so much for your help 😊
What's the price of a Sliver Dollar?
