Probably the best pure WR of the 70s a deep threat who could get physical with the ball in his hands and didn’t ever drop a thing not to mention a big bodied guy on top of that
Swann was better than Stallworth for 6 of the 8 and a half years they played together. Swann was the best receiver in football from 1975-1978. No one ever said that about Stallworth or Branch.
Poetry in motion one of the greatest receivers of all time
One of the all time GREATS.

Everyone talks about swann by I always remembered stallworth
he's my favorite Steelers.....Steelers fans since 1980
Lynn Swann should get on his knees and thank god every night that he had Stallworth playing on the other end.
Hes always been my favorite! He was Jerry Rice before there was a Jerry Rice!
That's Harvey Martin commenting on the 11/4/84 game vs Houston with Gary Gerould
And they had Lynn Swann
I think you missed the 1st quarter TD Stallworth caught in SB 13
Agreed; epic
Eddie Brown should have been covering John Stallworth in Super Bowl XIV along with Rod Perry, he was responsible for The Deep Drop.
Perry had great coverage. The throw was so good it's hard to imagine anyone stopping it.
fun fact john stallworth is my uncle i think i never new this
Stallworth was better than Lynn Swann but Lynn Swann goes in the HOF years before him. I can't respect the HOF.
There’s some logic to it; theyre both in now as should be
They came to the Steelers in 1974 and left at different times but they should have came into the HALL OF FAME together!

@@UncleClaudeSportsandThangs A lot of people said that about Stallworth and Branch.
