[ULTRAKILL] Welp. I'm top 100 now.

- I was originally trying to record a Gutterman compilation for a different video. I was playing pretty sloppy in the beginning of the video, just trying to get past the first several waves so I could film clutch Guard Breaks.
Turns out I was in for a new record. My previous record was 64. Who here thought I'd get anywhere close to 79 in one run? Not me. That's for damn sure.
I'm a little bummed about how I died. Towards the end, I got bored and tried to pull a magnet/freezeframe combo for a change and it ended up screwing me over. All things considered, who's to say I was making it much further anyway? I'm proud to be top 100 now.
To all of you who disagree about weapon picks, I hope this can be used as some kind of evidence for why I like some weapons over others.

Man, your weapon preferences are so similar to mine, but you're so many leagues better at this game than me, it's like watching an idealized version of myself who's a god play the game, it's intimidating, but also inspiring!

In all seriousness though this run is absolutely insane, and I P-ranked all of Ultrakill and completed P-1 and P-2. I hope to be half as good as you are.
It’s weird getting comments like these because I can see so many misplays and sloppy fistwork or aiming in how I play. This just reminds me that my 600 hours count for something, no matter how bad I think I’m doing.

@@Xioverze In the description of the video, I detail the fact that I was just lazily looking to get gutterman value for a compilation. That's why I was recording initially. So up until wave 60, I'm not locked in AT ALL until I realize I'm about to beat my record.
Amazing run I have p ranked everything on brutal and I can only get to 48 :(

my highest is round 34 on violent, and i consider myself to be pretty good at this game. good lord.
@@hellofend4734 Make 35 your next goal. That’s all it takes. And before you know it, you’re leaping through more waves than you’ve expected. Once you lock in and hit a groove, it’s hard to be stopped.

I died in this video because I got bored and wanted to try a silly freezeframe/magnet combo. You can hear me clicking the freezeframe repeatedly in a panic when it doesn't pan out. ):
@@broccolite8297Jaq sometimes takes breaks during cybergrind runs. i find it breaks my momentum, but you could give it a shot maybe?

@@broccolite8297 i think i get that feeling. i only can play ultrakill for 15 to 20 mins then i have to make some rest because my hads are getting pain :(
well at least i beated game on violent and p-ranked every level while plaing handheld on steamdeck. when chapter 3 will be fully released with p-3 ill try to do brutall run on deck while plaing handheld again.
but idk if it was worth it because my hads to this day are hurting alot after 1 week p-1 grind and 2 days p-2 grind.
@@MorrrisEk Playing this game with any kind of controller must be hell. I commend you for that. PC simply functions easier.
@@broccolite8297 i know. im just a masohist with that.
also it wasnt as hell to play as u maybe think. (except for 5 or 6 levels that given me headache while beating them) but only think here is im not able to perform trick shots most of the time in handheld. switching weapons is 2 to 4 times slower even with wheel selection and it makes close to impossible to perform for example coin railgun combo. only plausable for me was core nuking and from time to time coin + piercer. and it was only possible doe to prepared weapon setup which i was using first.
@@MorrrisEk I should try Ultrakill on controller at some point.
I love ULTRAKILL so much, also your gameplay could be a bit better in a lot of cases tbh but keep it up anyway.
I'm very aware of my mistakes in this video. Read the description. It explains why I didn't lock in until wave 60.

im out here doing railcoinpunches, aerial railcoins, conductor setups, colossal explosions with a wave 68 brutal pb and this guy goes haha its jackhammer time

I shall continue practicing until I achieve the same flow state I had during this run.
ok this just gave me motivation to start playing ultrakill again after a 2 month break and go from wave 66 to 75+ on brutal
