Thank you for my highlighted comment xxx I am self employed also within Guernsey Channel Islands UK. I am a registered mental health nurse and work privately within peoples homes. I specialise in Dementia Care. Sadly with this Pandemic and being a sole freelance worker, it is impossible for me to work atm, without the umbrella support from the Healthcare hospital's atm...I have said I can do voluntary work when/ if we need it.
We are lucky with being an island that we have been able to lockdown very early on, think we have only 6 presumptive deaths so far. All flights and boats stopped for travel in mid March and all seeding from virus has been eliminated so far! So I'm thankful. We are still on phase 2, so still very highly vigilant xx stay safe everyone Xxx

She was the first to do a reality series and work upon marketing the power of the media and consumerization. Have you actually looked at her bio? Her parents gave her a privalged upbringing but as far as her career she has done it herself, believe it or not? She could have chosen to sit at home and be kept by her families money..but she got taught it was cowardly and to go out and work for more at an early age?

She really has grown up and matured. I remember when the Simple Life aired and I was in college. Yeah she was always in different blogs and scandals but unlike the majority of celebrities, she hasn’t botched her looks, hasn’t overdosed, and is still doing her thing. I love that Paris challenges the argument that in order to build an empire in the social media era that one must exploit every part of their life, take advantage of people, be constantly in consumers’ faces...honestly etc. etc. She is just iconic. I love that she was never desperately clinging onto whatever was or is trendy and instead has always served as inspiration for trends. She’s a muse and that’s way hotter than being a thirsty dehydrated flavor of the week. This concludes my love letter to Paris. Jesus Christ, it’s like 15 year old me took over my body to write this comment. But in all seriousness, I was lucky to grow up during a time when Paris was showing young girls that there was an alternative route to becoming a successful woman other than exploiting the most sacred parts of yourself.
