On the surface, it looks like the product has been improved, but upon closer inspection, I found that the expensive brass has been stopped and the metal fixing has been replaced with resin parts, and I was bothered by the sign of compromise to the one that is cheaper to break in order to reduce costs and procure raw materials. Maybe it is because of the recent energy problem, or maybe it is just because it is new. It seems that just because something is new doesn't necessarily mean it's good. ST-340 cannot attach the Windshield We can purchase at DAISO in Japan. DAISO is 100 yen shop. th-cam.com/video/kT6Npm74owU/w-d-xo.html It means ST-340 is affected by wind strongly. From my experiences, even if ST-340 has more bigger burner parts than ST-310, It has no means having bigger burner. Comparing for prices between ST-310 and ST-340, ST-310 is great value for money. ST-340 is not reasonable. Thank you for reading my comment. As you watch this time's my movie, SOTO may has changed good fix for ST-340 without Announcement. You would better waiting for ST-340's information, But I hope You are going to prepare for buying ST-310.

表向きは使い良くなっているように見えて、よくよく見てみると高い真鍮をやめたり、金属固定が樹脂パーツになっていたりと、コスト減と原料調達のために壊れ安い方へ妥協した気配がモヤモヤっとしました(笑)

やっぱり変更を加えるという事は

CB缶接続部分のゴムは10年が公式の耐用年数なので、新しく変更された樹脂パーツ部分もそれくらいでしょうから
確かに旧型の方が今後プレミアになる可能性もありそうですね
価格がこなれて来たので、昨日ST-310をドンキホーテにてGET致しました。
税抜きで￥5千円を切ってましたので、即買いしてしまいました。
新型が出ているのは知ってましたが、バーナーは小さくて良いので問題ありません。
動画にて、改良の部分が分かり易く納得致しました。
当方、キャンプと言うより防災用にグッズを揃えております。
東京住み故に、電気・ガス・水道が使えない事態に備えて居ります。
新型で5千円切ってたんですか？
既に持っている身でありますが、

昨年購入しようとしたら、転売ヤー価格で断念しておりました。
