      People usually upgrade with wider section and lower profile tyres. But you want exact opposite. But there are some caveats.
      See, the outer diameter of your wheel with current tyre is 16+5+5= 26 inch but with your preferred tyre, it will be 16+6.5+6.5 = 29 inch which is amlost 11% more than original. In any case of tyre upgrade, outer diameter should not go beyond 5%. It will sevearly affect your ABS, and ESP.
      So I will strongly suggest you not to go for this tyre size.
      Hope this helps ✌️

    Gadi k piche agar dono tyre alag alag trade k lage ho to kya hoga?

      Same axle me different tread wale tyre use karne par road ke sath unka traction different hoga.
      One tire will have more traction with ground than the other and your car might lose control in high speed.

    I need to change 1 tyre for my Santro. Can we put 1 tubeless tyre while other tyres are with tube?

    • @TechnicalLore
      @TechnicalLore  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your rim supports tubeless tyre, you're good to go.
      But be advised, putting just 1 tubeless tyre in your car is dangerous while high speed manoeuvres. It is recommended to have either all 4 tubeless tyres or all 4 tube tyres.
      If you don't want to change all 4 tyres together then at least don't put different tyres on the same axle. Meaning to say that if you want to put a tubeless tyre on the rear axle of your car, change both, left and right tyres together on the rear axle leaving the front axle with tube tyres. This will save you some bucks without hindering your car performance to a great extent.
      Hope this helps. ✌️

      @@TechnicalLore I have Bridgestone S222 tyre (with tube) in my car. Now 1 tyre got damaged and Bridgestone S222 is not available. So store is suggesting Bridgestone B290 which is tubeless tyre. Other option is to get tyre with tube from other brand. Should I change brand and get tube tyre or stay with Bridgestone and get tubeless tyre?

    • @TechnicalLore
      @TechnicalLore  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tensidegamers4323 I can't suggest anything about any specific tyre type from a particular brand.
      But what I can tell you for sure is changing to any specific tyre brand won't make any difference to your car performance unless you change tyre size and type.
      But again, putting 2 different type of tyres on the same axle is not recommended.
      If you can't find your desired tube-type tyre with Bridgestone then go for the same type of tyre with any other brand rather than putting only 1 tubeless tyre just to stick with the same brand.
      In fact, you can mix any make and any type of tyre on your axles & won't notice any difference as long as you are maintaining an economical speed of 40-50. But the same becomes life threatening affair as you approach trippe digit speed.
      Hope this helps.
