Power Strip Surge Protector sirf kuch devices ko power surge se bachata hai lekin SPDs poora ghar ko electrical surge se bacha sakta hai. Kuch log yeh galatfehmi rakhte hain ki surges sirf lightning girne par hi hoti hain, lekin yeh pura sach nahi hai. Heavy electrical appliance jaise air conditioners, heaters, refrigerators, microwave ovens, ya bade motors ko on ya off karne par bhi voltage spikes ho sakte hain, jo ki surges hote hain.
