I dig that all the agents are clones. Also, the advertisements on the billboards changing to the different corporations taking over the area. This was solid, good work!
@@TheKatzenberg I did put the Ghost in the Shell ad on the screens next to the train line, but when it came to adding in the camera for the final shots, you can't see it lol
The amount of bloom and global illumination is too excessive, which is ironic considering that the Syndicate remake is probably the most infamous game for that, but otherwise it's neat example of "less is more" - great attention to detail, visual nods to the games and overall stylistic choices. For someone who has found himself making an amateur cyberpunk movie the "Making of us" was also useful, such a fascinating journey of pure dedication - that 3D MAX diorama feels like a functional location from the Satellite Reign videogame (Syndicate protege btw). Thx for the inspiration man, TH-cam needs creators more like you, less the "content" ones. 👍
Really glad you enjoyed the short and got something from the 'Making of' =D In my defence the use of bloom and lighting is pretty much taken from the Syndicate Reboot. I'm one of those contrarians that actually enjoyed the reboot, and my use of bloom is the same reason they used it lol If you check my other work I either use high saturation or bloom to help blend my actors to the backgrounds. I also wanted to have a balance between overbearing corporate sheen and dark dystopia. It's all a learning experience at the end of the day and helps me with my next cyberpunk film project ;) Thank you for your positive comments and I wish you all the best with your upcoming project! =)
I like the video, but I don't love it because of the water and dust on the lens, which is not to my liking. In my opinion, the dust and water on the lens detract from the visuals because water and dust do not react to the human eye like that. Basically, you broke illusion using this lens effect.
Glad you liked it overall, and thanks for the feedback! The reason I use those techniques is, for me it adds immersion, since for the most part it is a camera looking at the action. But there is always something to be said for less is more. I'll keep it in mind for future projects. All the best!
@@ZenithfilmsUKBy the way, I am a Syndicate Wars fan. I was searching for the game music for Syndicate Wars music when I stubbled across your video - nice surprise. Also, I shared your video on Twitter / X to a group of people whom love science fiction and horror Therefore, you might get more views. I wish you good luck in your movie making quests. I do agree with most of the comments on this video. Your video is more interesting than the bland Hollywood crap. Disregarding the lens effect, I've already watch this video multiple times. I will probably load up Syndicate Wars and play it now. Man, such a good game to this day.

I wished I'll see there the ads of Ghost In The Shell & Judge Dredd 😂

This is pure gold! To be F* honest, your short is more memorable than anything that I watched this year on Netflix.

Would be more iconic of he came out blasting a mini-gun. Overall was still very cool. Nostalgia vibes hitting hard.
Thank you, really glad you enjoyed it!
Minigun would have been awesome but as the film had no budget I had to work with what I already had 😉
Really enjoyed watching after all this time. Especially love the detail in the city. Congrats!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!! =D
