You really have to do forearms. If not the muscles radius and ulnar muscle will start to get weaker. For example you can will acquire some delts during an incline press, but is the delt muscle progressing how it would if you isolated by itself ? No comparison
@Quinton-you did better last week on the D.B Press; It does not mean anything in terms of muscle building because your conditions have changed this week, less fuel, less relative weight still equals muscle building, it is the intensity that will matter.
Maybe stop using heavy dumbbells and stick to machines, smith. Your stability precedes your ability to load and execute an exercise. Swinging heavy dumbbells can indeed compromise unintended parts, such as your lower back like you mentioned. Check your hiccups Quinton. Prolonged like that, usually underlying conditions. Cedric had hiccups not good they don’t go away. Very hard to train.
