Great video mate! For me, I know when I first got into Crows, I was coming from Clay shooting. It took me a good day or so to understand that I was actually over leading the birds, and I think this is a common mistake for Clay shooters who get a permission to shoot crows. Ive told mates since, if you're missing, just shorten the lead. For anything closer than 25 yards and slow, put it on the beak and keep the gun moving.... Great videos budd, I love catching up with what your up to!
Thank you bud! I know exactly what you mean, I’ve shot a lot of clays in the past and find that I shoot crows best with swing through. Helps me not to over lead them 👍 Glad your enjoying the channel bud
Excellent video. Would be great if you could do a similar one on driven game this season. Maybe even cover footwork and setting up for a right and left
Great to see another variation Rob! The calculation of size of gap vs size of bird is a really good analogy and you're absolutely right that there is more time than we often think. Thanks for posting👍👍
I've been shooting better this season than I ever have. Part of it is I have gone hunting a lot. But the other part is I've really tried to figure out how I missed when I miss. I have found that most of my misses are because I wasn't on line. I use almost identical methods as you just described. You explained it very well. Good video.
Brilliant video. Helpful to me as im new to shooting crows as mostly shot rifle for years. Clear and easy to get what you mean. Please make more tutorials. Loving the channel keep it up and Thanks
YOU ARE RIGHT ON IN YOUR LINE ADVICE --SHOOTING SKEET WILL GIVE A SHOOTER THE CORRECT PROCESS IN DEFINING A LINE FOR LEED BEFORE HUNTING GAME--ALSO YOUR ADVICE RE USING A SHOTCAM OR AN EQUIVALENT DEVICE IS WOTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD IN HELPING A SHOOTER ADDRESS THEIR PROBLEMS. I REALLY ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS--THANKS --DON.
So hard to explain lead, its a game of knowledge/ feeling... driven targets a "bit easier" , but crows are hard. You are spot on, letting them move so the line is straight. But its hard to comprihend, you need to shoot thousands of shots, before it really makes sence. Thankyou for taking the time to try to explain!!
Only found your channel a week or so ago. Took me 10 minutes to work out where I knew the face from😅. Absolutely loving the content. Please keep it coming. Ash
Great vid. Gonna get out the weekend see if ive learnt anything. I really struggle going from shooting clays (where i hit 80%) to pigeons/crows (hitting1in3shots) have found shotcam a huge help tho as can see what im doing wrong.
Like the video of the shotkam on lead missed a few today 😂. How about decoying pattern's for crow's. Used steel 4shot 32g Gamebore with quad seal 👍with muller decoy choke 40 yard's
@@fieldsportswithspeed tested Bioammo Blue 5shot 28g with Muller passing on pattern 👌 💙 put a hole through 1/4 inch chip board with the wad at 35yards going to do 1 at 45 yard's. Was going to use them around building, think 🤔 the wad could be a problem 🤔
Awesome video Rob! Very clear and relevant info that has made me realise I am giving them waaaaay too much lead. I have only been shooting for 6 months so this will hopefully change the way I'm shooting and stop a bad habit being formed. Thanks so much for passing on your knowledge and please do more of these if you find the time. Oh and more hushy videos as they are brilliant 😜😂 Cheers, Jamie
👋 in new to this i level the army on Saturday and I’m going to live field to fork so witch best gun to get shotgun or rifles? I’ll be tacking rabbits birds deer’s and help will do thank u 🙏 best video I’ve seen.

It’s not easy to describe lead, I think you did it well without waffling, I always struggle switching from crows to pigeons or vice versa
It was harder than I thought to explain haha but thank you, I tried my best to explain it. I know the feeling, they are a hard transition 👍
