I wish we could learn Reggaeton Fusion/ Dancehall and Twerking (and Vogueing) around my home. We don't have it around here, in Michigan near Detroit, These styles are all big in Europe, and South America, I believe- according to what I can find out. All dance videos come from there; all classes too. People do this in clubs there too, not around here, though. I thought maybe Ann Arbor? Royal Oak, Ypsilante? No classes or colleges in my area in Plymouth/Canton, MI. I watch her vids on you tube and try to do her choreography, but it's too fast and advanced for me, I can do some of it. I get a lot of people looking at me , I just ignore them. I am enjoying myself, and go into a secluded corner of my gym to practice dancing. I'm not trying to get anyone looking_ I have no where else with big mirrors, wifi for videos and music, and space to move, so I go for it! If they want to stare that's their problem.

I have the same issues as you do trying to learn her moves. it is more difficult to learn a whole routine. routines are usually broken down in smaller parts when learning even for the pros. I try to stop the video and master a bit at a time....it is difficult working with You Tube videos but I love it and I won't give up. Enjoy...express your spirit!!

I was also wondering ; do you have a good place to practice? I have bought one of those floor/leaner mirrors, for my apartment. I watch her videos while I try to learn the moves; and watch my form, in my mirror. I used to have a wood floor, in my house, but now I have carpet, so pivoting and sliding is much more difficult to do! Do you have any tips or tricks you could share ,that makes dancing work better for you?
Cheryl Shollack Jazz slippers work well on carpet. They have some sort of hide bottom. I haven't found anywhere to learn dancehall either I just try it at home. I'm not too interested in the vogue style but do like it.

Each of her steps in this video is very hard for an amateur. She didn't have to show her usual steps because her audience have already seen her perform them before. They already know who she is. And the mermaid idea was clever too.
To all the people here hating on the "Screaming"... Here's why... It's not mainly because of the performance but her name... She carries the House name "NINJA" which is highly respected in the vogue community...
