I am using Neptune VX model on daily basis for 2+ years now, and we don't have any maid also for washing utensils.. so basically I am using it almost twice a day.
No problems at all so far.
However since before Neptune VX model, I had Neptune DX model for 6 years, but it started giving some problems after 4.5 years of usage, Like rusting in some parts, electronic control panel got replaced during AMC, Thermostat had to be replaced etc., so after 6 years I changed it with VX model.
From my experience can say, for 5 years you may not face much problems but after that some wear and tear may cause problems.
All this is depending upon, how you maintain it and how much is the usage.

Very practical demonstration. About a year ago, we had gone to US to meet our son and daughter in law and during our 2 months stay we saw the convenience of having a dishwasher. On our return, we bought LG dishwasher about a year ago. Definitely, dishwasher is a very convenient gadget. If Eco cycle of ANY dishwasher is used, it will consume 1 unit of electricity and 9 liters of water. congratulations for such a simple and nice demo.

I bought the IFB diswasher Neptune for past eight years. This machine was working two years properly. But maintenance cost was too cost. After two years this machine was not working. Repairing charges was very cost. Twenty four water sevice is must. Now this machine was ideal in our house

Hamare yaha soft water hai. Aur powder bhi ifb use Kiya hai. (Just 10 ml) dalti hu.
Etna cum dalker bhi problem vaise ki vaise ... Fir bhi tablet use karke dekhti hu.

I have bought a second hand dishwasher of the same brand and model. Can I run it without vessels and only tablet just to clean it, before I start using it? Do I have to put rinse and salt also?
Yes you can run without vessels on 30 minutes mode ..it's better to add rinse and salt also ..

Yes it is better to put a small stabilizer, because in case of power fluctuations it's electronics control panel may get damaged.
Please check with your friends if they are using dishwasher. Because my experience is the vessels don't get completely rinsed. The detergent film remains on the surface evenafter completion of the dishwasher cycle. To check this hold the vessels under running water and you will find lots of foam coming out from the vessels

Nice Demo...I have one query for Neptune VX Plus. I washed our utensils on Super 50 min 60° C setting. After complete wash there is detergent on all utensils. What could be issue in this?
Use finish tablet, it is 3 in one, or after washing cycle go for prewash program without soap

Ji Haan ekdum sahi chal raha hai...ifb ka dishwasher accha hai..LG ka Maine use nahi Kiya Hai to uska idea nahi hai..
Even after technician had resolved the problem of constant glowing of extra hygeine and tablet button and machine not functioning it is once again showing the same problem.
How did the Technician resolved the problem, did he mentioned?
We have only faced this problem 2 times in last 10 years, once it was a problem Control Panel motherboard after replacement of that it started working, that was an older IFB model..
And once due to uneven surface below the machine we noticed this problem..
Kindly raise the complaint to IFB Customer Service and tell them to send a Senior Technician.
Ask them about the escalation matrix that who is the ASM OR RSM
Area Service Manager or Regional Service Manager get their contact number or email and contact them, then it will be attended faster.
We are no way connected to IFB, we just do Product Review based on our experience.

Hi..yes you can keep non stick , wooden , Tupperware , aluminium and even plastic also but plastic quality should not be too low ..but iron utensils like iron tawa ,kadhai will not be clean in this..

White sports aane ke reason hai
1- salt check kijiye ..agar salt khatam ho gaya ho to usko dalna hoga
2- rinse khatam hone par bhi white spot aate hai
3- because of water quality
4-. Agar apke yaha water quality acchi nahi hai to apko water filter lagwana hoga ..
5- month me 1 baar scaling karni chaiye ..agar aap woh nahi karte hai to woh reason bhi ho sakta hai..
Aur agar ye sab karne ke baad bhi white spot hai to aap voltas service centre par call karke batiye ..
We have the same dishwasher and faced the same issue initially. Even I called a technician, but no help. After a few setting changes(mix n match), it started working efficiently. Just increased the salt setting. I use IFB salt, fortune detergent and rinse aid. Hope it helps a little. Most probably the Problem is with salt.

How to fix up if detergent socket is not showing clicking

I am having IFB Dishwasher, I facing 'F5' error when i select 'Eco Wash' Program ,Only Bottom tray utensils to clean or Upper Tray untensils to clean.
The detergent box was not opening, using Fortune Detergent (15gms) or Empty (in detergent box).
For remaining programs including PreWash program using Bottom or Upper tray utensils to clean no 'F5' error.
No Inlet or Outlet of water flowinng problems and no blockages at pipes.
Then why 'F5' error occuring only in 'Eco Wash' Program and using either Bottom or Upper tray only?
Any solution help me.
I have never seen this kind of a problem in last 11 years in my Dishwasher.

महीना का खर्चा ऐसे अलग से तो हमने चेक नही किया है।अगर आप फूली ऑटोमैटिक वाशिंग मशीन यूज करते है । तो ये समझ लीजिए की इतना ही खर्चा आता है। ज्यादा नहीं आता है। बॉस की मशीन हमने यूज नहीं की है ।लेकिन हा उसके रिव्यू भी अच्छे है। पर्सनली तो हमने IFB की ही यूज की है।वो काफी अच्छी है।मुझे अभी तक कोई प्राब्लम नही हुई।

Hi Ma'am, could you please confirm if we need to keep the drainage pipe tied in inverted 'U' shape on the backside of the machine.
We have been told by demo person that if we untie it, then machine throws an error while draining out the water.

@@Dietichen even Voltas Beko, drain pipe hangs like that.
I think it is required to hold in the water from flowing out on it's own. By that loop of the pipe water will only flow out of the machine when it will push it out with pressure.

No, this is not ok .. water should not be remain at the bottom..you should call service center..

We have not installed any TDS filter but as per your city, location, the IFB person who will come for the installation will tell you after measuring the water TDS, if anything is required

We are using Neptune VX model on daily basis for 2+ years now, and we don't have any maid for also for washing utensils.. so basically we are using it almost twice a day.
No problems at all so far.
However since before this we had Neptune DX model for 6 years, but it started giving some problems after 4.5 years of usage, Like rusting in some parts, electronic control panel got replaced during AMC, so after 6 years we changed it with VX model.
From our experience can say for 5 years you may not face much problems but after that some wear and tear may cause problems.
All this is depending upon, how you maintain it and how much is the usage.

Jab tablet use karte hain toh kya dishwasher mein jo salt and rinse liquid hai usko bhi saath mein use karega ?
Hi.. actually if we r using tablet no need to use rinse and salt but in india because of bad water quality we have to use salt and rinse with tablet..
