Hi! So I have a boy bunny named benson and he is a Holland lop. I have had him for it 2 months and potty training is going rly bad he is 6months do u have any personal tips?
I added my question in your comments which was probably crazy because there's a lot of comments to go through for you but my question is about where you got your hay bag? it looks super flexible large and easy access to the hay for cinnamon.😁 I have literally button five different feeding bags and ones with bars and a wooden one LOL none of them are easy for my bunny to get hay out of I'm tired of spending money so I ended up just putting some in her tent and her litter box but I'd prefer a bag☺️thank you very much in advance I really enjoy your thorough videos
9:00 I know you were talking to me! 😂 I have a 11.5 week old Lionhead. She took to peeing in the litter box rather quickly, as I too used a play yard with her. However, after 51 days (I got her at 4 weeks old) of having her and with tons of time, patience and treats, she *finally* jumped up on my lap. After 53 days, she purred on my lap as I was petting her. I was so excited… I cried lol BUT now when she jumps on my lap, she’ll pee on me about 50% of the time. It’s so aggravating! (just being honest here) I didn’t realize that about their tails going up, so I’ll definitely keep an eye on her little tail. She also leaves a trail of poops wherever she goes. She is an only pet and we installed new carpet and bought new furniture about a year before we got her.. so another pet isn’t the issue. Her spay date is July 26th and I couldn’t be more excited for it to be over with. Im nervous about it but excited for it. I just want her to stop pottying on me! ☹️I swear I’m not gonna cheat on her!! 🙄 😆 😒
Ahh yay! My bun is obsessed with going on my bed..let’s just get this straight I don’t really take it as a compliment 🤣 but please make a bunny proofing video! :)
My rabbit is a "rescue" (I adopted him from my moving boss for free). He's about a year old, and after a month of having him he's stopped having ANY accidents. Frankie's so good with his litter box :)
We were having some issues with my 3.5 month old bunny that was popping every where and we didn’t know why bc she was doing so good going in her litter box and this video deff helped ! i didn’t know her hormones would cause this ! i’m deff going to buy a urine order spray thank you!
Thank you so much for this video! I have two Lionhead bunnies I just got and they are 5 months old. I don’t want to let them out of their pen because they poop and pee everywhere. I followed your advice about using the urine enzyme spray and staying in top of cleaning up their mess, and it worked! I’ve only been at it for one day, and when I returned home this afternoon instead of finding 100 poop balls inside their pen area, I only found five! So I sprayed those five spots and tossed their poop balls in their potty and I’m hoping that tomorrow will be even better! I really want them to free roam all the time, but I can’t have them urinating all over the carpet everywhere lol! Thank you again! And I also love your video about how to bond with your bunnies! I was trying too hard and going too fast. So I am sitting in their pen as I write this, hand feeding them a snack❤️You are the best!
I just adopted a 4 month old bunny I named Maisy. She is such a sweet baby. We have two dogs, so I'm not sure that I can let her free roam. I have a feeling that our Maisy will look very similar to your bunnie when she's full grown. Your videos are very helpful. Thank you!
These are such helpful tips! Thank you Morgan for breaking down the key basics for litter training and setup! You hit all the important stuff in such a short time 👏🏼👏🏼
Great video, this is exactly how I trained my bunny. For the clean up I just used equal parts vinegar and water, in a clean spray bottle. Works wonders.
When you clean their urine with a spray even if it’s the spray you used or vinegar did you put that paper towel in the litter box too? Didn’t know if that was okay. First time having a bunny just got him yesterday 😊
@@heatherthomas1788 No I put a clean paper towel dipped in his urine only, inside his litter box. Then cleaned the rest up with the vinegar water mixture.
I'm not a bunny mom yet because where I live right now we are not allow to have animals, but these videos warm my heart so much. I love them 🥺 and once I can have a bunny I'll be ready with all the advice that you and cinnabun have given me. Thank! Ily ♥️
iml literally seeing on every video the worst thing to do is pick up ur bunny and put them in the littrt box for punishment or whatever and i totaly did that with all my dogs so im confused now
Just bought a bunny and I’ve been letting him free roam but he typically doesn’t use the bathroom in the house. Maybe here and there but I’ve been using your technique of putting it in his litter box. But yesterday there were no accidents! Yay!
So thankful I found U. I rescued a wild cotton tail bunny 6 days ago. I needed information. Thank u for being explaining everything. Of course I subscribed
Sooo my niece gave me a bunny for my birthday but I have no information about it’s medical history whatsoever but I kept him despite that. He was very well litter trained but when I let him hop around he started marking the kitchen 🤣 so I put him in my room so he can get used to that space . Then tried free roaming again and he did great for a while until family kept coming over then he started marking the couch 😬 I tried cleaning it with vinegar water. But he still kept going there. So like you said I only let him in that area supervised. I was pretty upset because I had to keep moving him around the house since family was over and I had to surrender my room… but Chip (my bunny) has been handling it like a champ When I am able to take him to the vet I think I will go ahead and talk about neutering him and maybe get an accurate age range… he looks like an adult bunny to me. We are bonding great❤ the tips you gave us in the other video really helped me make him feel at home. Now he is my “battle bunny” (play in words from the military term battle buddy) he hops around with me everywhere 🥰
hi morgan! i would love a video about the pros and cons of having a single rabbit!! i've had my bun for almost 2 years and shes super happy but i wonder if i'm doing something wrong by not getting her a partner. since CB is also a solo bunny, i would love to hear your thoughts on this!!!
I would recommend fostering bunnies. We originally were only having one until we got a foster bunny. They originally didn't get along, or so we thought, until we saw them licking each other through the baby gate. Now they are so close and love the company.
I love all my buns I've got 7 of them and yes I have them in my house , believe it or not they all started to use this old bean bag I had thrown in the living room floor so what I did is threw some hay in the middle of it and that's where they all go At first I'd say to myself " it has to smell , I'm just use to the smell because I really didn't smell anything out of the ordinary , so I started to ask my family if they could smell anything and they simply would say " if your asking if it stinks in here " no , I don't smell anything " so that was a relief because I wasn't about to get rid of my bunnies now I am making them a nice big fenced in area outside for the spring and summer so they could run around and jump and play I've got lots of big stuffed animals they love them they jump on them over them and they also love sleeping by them But thanks for sharing this video it's definitely very helpful
I adopted my bun from the shelter they said she was about 2 however I think she is about 5… she was really easy to potty train!! I was amazed…. As soon as I set everything up it took about 3days for her to get into the groove of it and she has been amazing ever since
For best potty set-up, I recommend Pelletize Bedding which expels a wonderful fresh wood smell that lasts. Plus, extremely cheap at any farm store. Yees on the hay idea 🙌🙌 i got a newzealand bunny and hes great with his potty he trained himself really but he will literally drag his hay box to his litter box i was wasting so much hay 😫 but now i buy i bulk from local feed supply and i switched to alpine wood chips the papper bedding is way to expensive and i found the puppy pads where absorbing more then the bedding was so tmrw will be the first day of using it hopefully he doesnt mind it my bunny peed on my bed one time but hes still too young to be neutered 3 more months
Thank you so much for this video, I didn't understand why my bunny was potty trained but not on the couch.. Now I know and know what to do, I couldn't find any information on this !
FINALLY a video talking about bunnies and beds hahahaha I gave up on trying to teach my bun how to "behave" while on my bed so I just don't let her into my room anymore hahaha and I block the couch as well because she was starting to dig on it
Wow! Your tips are awesome..we just got our 2 month old bunny and didnt have any idea how to potty train...until i found your video!. Thank you so mch!
Is Cinnabon free to roam the living room while you sleep? I was wondering if I should keep my bunny in a large exercise pen during the night to avoid accidents?
This was extremely helpful cuz I love animals especially rabbits that was one of my I think third or fourth animal that my father bought me as a child they have such a beautiful animal and lovable animal thank you 🙏🏾🐰🍌🐇🥬
I have two baby 3.5 month old bunnies and potty training has been rough so far. They are a separated male and female and I have their neuter/spay scheduled. I had to stop allowing them to roam because they were ruining the wood floors. They seem to get each other excited and spray pee. I am using this method of putting the potty I their boxes, but so far it’s been rough. Sure hope things get easier after spay/neuter.
Let me know if you use any of these tips :)

I love this vid. Thank you from ireland. ❤❤❤❤
