@The._.OmnitrixChan the elytra and the trident are almost always obtained right after each other. What about when you are in iron armour and about to traverse caves for hours for your first diamonds? Will you have a riptide 3 trident then? Then you need the bookshelves and the xp for a chance of riptide, and thats after skipping getting the trident itself, trident isn't early game
perhaps even breeze charges/rods and scaffolding to make it some sort of floating scaffolding? re-theme it as a scaffolding variant rather than tying it to the potato April fools
Just be prepared for people to say "it doesn't feel minecrafty" oh yeah also the grapple hook could be easy to get for an early transport method and some people would use it anyways for fun
I think this is a really good block, but I agree with some of the comments that it would be very OP, so I think maybe a good balance would be that you can only place it when you aren’t falling, because being able to clutch that easily would be way to OP, and make the end much less dangerous. This block should totally make it into the game though, because it’s really cool. Please like this comment and the video so Mojang has a better chance of seeing it. Also good video.
I think even u can only place when not falling, it's will still too OP or too bad. I mean, if u jump it's still consider as falling right? If that's right so this block just work same as the scaffolding isn't it?
There should never be a feature to instantly save you from falling in the void, it’s kinda the whole point that it’s dangerous to traverse the end until you have the elytra. Putting a block like that before the elytra ruins the progression
It would actually be really inconvenient since it would probably place in the very next open block you are looking towards so it would mess you up more then anything

in order to make it balanced, make it spawn in a already rare structure (or chest) and make it a really small percent chance to spawn but if it does, it will spawn in at least a minimun of 32 and maximum of 3 stacks (or get practically infinite with broken seeds
If they made it it would probably be called a cloud block and be semi transparent while acting like powdered snow meaning that you could walk on it with a custom enchantment like cloud walker
We need to remove the fireworks and add the grappling hook because if you hold a bit and let it go you will get a boost and you fly faster than the fireworks
The grappling hook can be useful if you get an elytra but dont have a creeper farm or sugarcane farm to get fireworks because you can build momebtum and fly pretty far with it.
I have a grappling hook plugin on a server me and a friend play, and I have to agree. We never have to waste fireworks on going to and from our mob spawner because his house and a pillar I built at the spawner can get us around freely. (Plus emerald hooks have 40 durability in the plugin and we have a bamboo farm with a fletcher, so the hardest part of getting them is the string for a fishing rod.
Could have it as an upgraded scaffolding recipes so it could float and be placed mid air on its own, maybe like one wind charge surrounded by 8 scaffolding

the flotater is good cause you don't need slime blocks connecting everything on the platform, with a regular flying machine if you wanna have a house on it you need to do some redstone mumbojumbo to take it with you, with the flotater it treats all blocks touching each other like one block and the way it flies is so much smoother
