I for one can appreciate what you’re doing here. I’ve had to start working on my bike more and more over the past 5 years. I do like doing it but I’m not as fast as a seasoned guy. It takes me longer thus less riding time. I did have a mechanic I trusted and went too for all my work. He retired. I’m sure we have a lot of great mechanics here in the Cincinnati area. I’m still feeling a couple new guys out. Then there’s the fact that my bike is 21 years old. One HD shop has already said they won’t work on it because it’s too old and my parts are starting to be considered vintage. I’ve still been able to get parts but sometimes it takes a few weeks. I will probably buy a new one in the next few years. I’ve held off this long because my “Twinkie” (I love that) has been so reliable. I’ll never get rid of it, but a newer tech bike would be nice as well. Oh, the Ryan Newman Buffalo fun fact is pretty cool!
Thank you ! The goal here is to help people whether that’s giving food for thought or it’s helping them be able to work on this stuff the correct way. There is a lot of bad info out there and I just want people to be safe, I weighed the fact that what I’m doing could potentially hurt my business in the long run….but it’s a risk I’m willing to take because of some of the most REDNECK ENGINEERED !!! Stuff I see come through the doors and it’s unsafe. Look I still ride an 07 dyna. I get it I love my bike and have held off as well on getting a different bike because, well they don’t make it anymore AND it’s paid for haha in a few years I’ll be faced with obsolete parts issues but for now I just keep on digging! Thank you for watching ! I appreciate your support.
I'm getting ready to install the same kit. You time lapsed the stuff I really wanted to see, disassembling and reassembling the forks. Cool video regardless.
Thank you ! Unfortunately in efforts to keep a video as short as possible some stuff has to be time lapsed…if you have ANY questions you can email me !
@@VtwinRevolution what's funny is I ended up watching the spring installations in 1/4 speed and worked great. I did screw up and when doing the cartridge, I filled it with the oil before seating the oil seal so that was fun, but I got it all to work! Good stuff man, great video. I'm running the Arlen Ness Hot Legs with a 180 fat tire but this was super helpful. Thanks again!
Nice run down on this .Went with race tech and ohlins on my XR1200 what a change in the handling and ride.Have used Fox on other bikes very good stuff. Another great vid. dude Geist Wulf Cycles
lol, it’s happens! The internet is a powerful marketing tool !! Also I apologize for the late response I have been in western NC helping with the relief effort.
Great video. I have been wanting to upgrade the front suspension on my Street Glide, to the Ohlins, but have just been nervous to try it myself. One random question. My “Run/Stop switch stopped working, m it no longer “kills” the bike. I have to use the ignition. Should I automatically just replace the switch or are there other things that could cause it?
Hey Sean, I have a question for you. I have a 2009 Road king and I was thinking of deleting the cat so that my chrome Werks muffler would sound louder and the Bike can breathe better is that something I could do and would it make the muffler sound louder? All that cat is doing is holding the sound and Power back. Please correct me if I’m Wrong. Thank you in advance
Hey buddy, so deleting the cat will do two things…..1) it will get rid of a TON of heat generated from the cat 2) it will deepen the exhaust note a little nothing drastic but will also help it breathe and move air more efficiently. Personally I would get it out ASAP ! Can you do it….sure ! If you have access to a welder or someone with a welder it would be beneficial. The way I do it is cut the pipe in half and get out ALL the catalyst material (it’s platinum) plus it’s easier to do with two small halves. once all is removed and cleaned out I’ll weld it up and BAM it’s done
The title of this one almost scared me off. When it said "elevate your ride" I thought you were doing about a 12" lift kit on your Dyna like seems to be so popular these days. And the audio was great. Too many guys set it up so we don't hear the bike. Can't stand that..good seeing you again.

Those switch packs have individual switch functions but are on one computer board, I wouldn’t think there is anything to look deeper into…..you’d have other issues if there was a deeper problem

What year bike do you have ?
@@VtwinRevolution 21
You’d need to replace the RHCM (right hand control module) there are no individual switches
