we need to keep in mind that iphone works on a 12 MP camera, hence detail isn't really the priority, it's the colour accuracy and balance, i would like out the picture which as you mentioned was in a pretty adverse condition, the one where you mentioned that the nord did better, actually it didn't, the iPhone kept it really natural, the shadows were prominent, the nord decreased the shadows and over saturated the picture
