- I am always incredibly grateful for all the opportunities that come my way, but this one was just a bit special for me. As a teenager, I was THE biggest East 17 fan on the planet, so to be stood on stage, singing the Gabrielle part of “If you Ever” that I used to sing into my hairbrush all those years ago…well it’s a memory I’ll never forget. They really are the nicest lads as well which was the icing on the cake!
Thank you so much to Terry Coldwell, Robbie Craig and Joe Livermore for sharing your stage with me, you made an old girl very happy!!

Thanks for your comment. Just though I’d mention that bands such as Yes , Heart , Lynyrd Skynrd, Journey, Audioslave, Black Sabbath , Queen, The Who, Thin Lizzy, Foreigner and Genesis to name but a few have all continued with different band members, different singers, sometimes with none of the original lineup at all!! East 17 are in good company and I had a great time singing with them. Merry Christmas
Tribute!! Being a big East 17 fan back in the day, and seeing these guys carry on the band name and just travel around Europe singing all the classics is so sad to see,

They should have come up with a different name, all to stop Brian from using the name in future but he wants no involvement in the industry anymore.

I was a massive E17 fan back in the day and I can honestly say that it’s awesome seeing youngsters now being exposed to the tracks they probably wouldn’t have been if these guys weren’t still touring. Technically a tribute act wouldn’t have an original band member, so I don’t think that’s a fair comment, but you are of course entitles to your opinion. Merry Christmas

But yeah I guess one thing is good the songs still going but they just don't have the same feel as they are sang totally different..
Shame Brian doesn't get any royalties from these songs.
