When Leslie was taken away, she wasn't happy. She became a mom cos she thought Leslie would want her to live. She raised kids to be happy and live a full life. Not for the demons. this song was actually made by leslie, the boy she was with on the house while they were young, leslie played it on a mandolin and she heard it so he taugh it to her, then she saw him get shipped out and only then did she discover what truly happens when the children are "adopted" she sings the lullaby during shipment not just to calm the child, but to also stop herself from crying, she doesn't want what she's doing but had no choice, either do her job and live or get killed. doing what she does best with the children got her far, well and alive, but she also loved them deeply
