Please Heavenly Father have mercy on Florida. Protect my Family & Friends there. They are yours Lord, Jesus you died and took the keys of sin and death. We Proclaim that Florida and its people be protected by you. Things are things but the lives Lord. Spare them I pray.
At 45:03 when you mention the woman leaving her water jar behind, I believe it was symbolic just as the disciples left their nets and jobs behind to immediately follow Jesus and become fishers of men. Very much enjoying today's lesson... so much absorb.
@@jydymyyyr9630 Great point. My thought was that she knew so was coming right back so why bring the water to them when she can bring them to the living water.
Monday morning in SA. Sunday blessings to you and thank you, Kanoe. I wish I can join the prayer group, but I have cell group meeting at the time. I've been looking forward to doing the NT but so much has gone wrong this year that I lately struggle to fully concentrate... my mind is full and drift constantly. I will keep showing up and will be brought back where God has my full attention. I guess what I'm asking is that you pray with me that it is rather sooner than later. I have been year since the beginning. Thank you, Heartdive community!
If only we were all more like Mary with our problems. “Here is my problem, I’ll let you run with it now.” As kanoe said, “ she’s coming with faith and expectations but she’s not demanding.”
I believe she was amazed and so excited believing Jesus is Christ could there be anything more exciting than Christ Jesus? Nothing could compare to meeting our Beautiful Savior Christ Jesus. There are signs and wonders I will never give up hope and knowing with Christ all things are possible.
I believe you may have been in our Prayer Room and if that was you I hope to see you again! Continuing in prayer for you and thank you for joining us 🙏💛
Re: The official's son was healed "at the 7th hour". In my life, I have had friends tell me that I came to mind and they prayed for me 'right then' - which I realized was exactly the moment/day/time that I needed it most. The Holy Spirit convicted them of this and they acted upon it.Therefore, I need to do the same for others - pray right then they come to mind.
❤ I love these stories in the New Testament! The lady at the well, one I can relate with well - why did she leave her water! Lol - I never thought about that, although He is the living water!! ❤
I listen to a devotional on the woman at the well a while back. It talked about how Jesus changed her. She arrived the woman everyone talked about and tried to avoid. She left the woman everybody wanted to talk to and learn about her experience with Jesus. What a wonderful viewpoint Jesus can change anybody’s situation.
In relation to the temple being built and timings.... they said it has taken 46 years to build the temple.... but it could have been finished 4/5 years prior to the conversation they are having in John 2:20.
“No one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of WATER and the Spirit.” (John 3:5 ) And in John 4:14 « But those who drink the WATER I give will never be thirsty again. » For me this is this Water that Jesus was talking about. No one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of Water = drinking Jesus’ water, believe in him, reading his word. So no one can enter the Kingdom of God (Yahweh) without being born of Water (Jesus) and the Spirit (Holy Spirit). This show us the Trinity :) I don't think it's a coincidence that Jesus gives us the explanation of water in the next chapter (John 3 and 4). Thank you Kanoe and Holy for this bible study, I’m here since day one. I’m studying from France 🇫🇷❤️ may the LORD bless you
Not everyone interprets this message the same as you. I sincerely appreciate what you have been doing. It's been a wonderful journey. Putting your belief about Scripture is not scripture. Maybe there are many many others who believe this way but I do not at this point. Please stick to scripture. I really don't want to stop my journey through the Bible.
So you would like me to stop commenting on scripture or stop giving any scholastic explanation at all? Can you provide more discussion? That’s the purpose of Bible study. Would love to hear your thoughts as I’m not sure what you’re referring to ❤️
@@heartdiveI disagree. I think it's YOUR channel. This is a Bible STUDY. You are sharing all of you. Your thoughts, knowledge, opinions and beliefs. It's up to each of US to discern what God wants us to keep for ourselves and what is not for us. We can continue with you or move on. But asking YOU to stop what God has called you to is not OK. We must each be responsible for our own relationship. And on another note I know that you steward this ministry well and are careful to tell everyone that "XYZ" is not fact or in the Bible if it's not. Thank you for all you do!
I really enjoyed this message today. It truly was a blessing. I have been praying and seeking to find a community like this. Please continue the good work! I live in Georgia (near Jacksonville, FL) .
Hi Kanoe and Heart Dive fam! Really enjoying the Bible study so far - have stuck with it from day one and still here 🎉 Quick comment around 16.00 when you said people had shallow belief because they only believed when they saw Jesus miracles - towards the end of the chapter John talks about the purpose of the book (chapter 20 vs 30) which says “Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples which are not written in this book; but THESE are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” It sounds like the signs were actually part of the believing, do let me know if I’ve got that wrong. Love the word - I’m a keen learner 😊
I think the age of Jesus of being around 30 is based on Him being believed, by many scholars, to have been born in 4-6 BC. 20 BC (start of construction) + 46 years = 26 AD (approximate time of Jesus' statement) If Jesus was born in 5 BC, he would have been about 31 years old in 26 AD
I love the fact that Jesus's mother didn't demand of him to replace the wine, but as a daughter myself, when my Mom told me to do something and if I questioned it. The eyebrow hitting the hairline look was all I needed to do what I was asked to do😬
By tracing the history recorded in the New Testament, especially the Gospel of Luke, and comparing it with Roman history, we conclude that Jesus was born between 6 and 4 BC, near to the time of King Herod’s death. In estimating the age of Jesus, we can split the difference and say He was born in 5 BC. Next, we need to determine the date of the start of Jesus’ ministry. Luke 3:1 says that John the Baptist started preaching in the fifteenth year of Tiberius’s reign, which would be c. AD 28 or 29. Jesus was probably baptized and began His ministry sometime in AD 29 when He was about 33 years old. And then we determine the date of the end of Jesus’ ministry. Based on the number of Passover feasts Jesus observed during His public ministry-three of which are mentioned in Scripture-He ministered for approximately three and a half years. That would place the end of Jesus’ ministry in AD 33. So, it is likely that Jesus was crucified in AD 33. (There is another theory that calculates the beginning of Jesus’ ministry differently, arriving at a crucifixion date of AD 30. Both these dates fit the historical data we have that Pontius Pilate governed Judea from AD 26-36, and Caiaphas the high priest was also in office until AD 36.) Doing the math: 5 BC to 1 BC = 4 years, and AD 1 to AD 33 = 33 years, for a total of 37 years. Jesus was thus in His 30s when He was crucified. Depending on the exact date of His birth and the year He commenced His public ministry, Jesus was somewhere between 33 and 39 years old when He died. So, while it is impossible to be precise or dogmatic, the answer to the question “How old was Jesus when He died?” is “approximately 36 years old.” Luke 3:26 states Jesus was about 30 years old.
47:15 I just had a thought. Maybe Jesus wasn't actually thirsty. Maybe that was his opening line to see if she was receptive to the conversation they were about to have.
I thought the miracle of the wine was Jesus's first miracle. That is why he said Women, it is not yet my time... But in the order that we have been reading, miracles have already happened.
