- We visited Clayton Hospital while there was available access and have to say this place was creepy dangerous and truly worth the explore.
Unfortunately i lost the end bits of my footage however the whole place was amazing and we even got onto the roof :o

I used to work there, loved it, it was a lovely hospital. I’d love to have a look round it now, so sad that it’s been left to rot xx

Wish I could explore this place before they knock it down. Nice vid mate. I only live down the road. The local yobs have trashed the place, that’s why it’s now camera’d up to the max

Went here about two weeks ago and the majority of the building is gone. Big 7-8 foot wooden fence around it as well managed to get over it by climbing a tree, sadly couldn’t get into the building though
Yeah heard they had started knocking this down a few years ago shame mad place

Not sure how long it has been closed for but quite awhile - and yeah it is crazy it's amazing to see these places left over where noone has been in ages

I had my foreskin removed in that hostiptal in 1999. Great times. The grammar school have bought it and are turning it into a institute of sport.
🙃🙃 it is a cool place and yeah heard someone bought it but they will probably demolish it then rebuild over it as it would be very expensive to convert

Yeah the place has seen a lot of damage over the years would be nice if they did something with it
Used to have the STI clinic in there too , thankfully all clear 😂

on of those floor beams. You may end up singing soprano...and the girls will have little use for you. Yeah, I guess they had rooms for staff only...and ones for strep..probably one for
rabies... The holes in the floor probably revealed where plumbing and some electrical stuff was run. I note that there was a lack of spirits running around...Oh...you probably drank

I remember this hospital 🏥 Not been up that way in a very very long time I had friends that was a party and I remember that hospital very well it’s a shame that it said just left now and left to waste
Believe abit was knocked down now not sure tbh it is a shame tho
Our buildings like this one have been closed down by EU regulations. Yeah, some good but some appalling. We made out structures to last and they didn't like that. I spent a month in there which was unusual at the time. The staff were exemplary, every one of them. They mended me. Thanks for the opportunity for a last look and for bringing the travesty to us.
This is so true alot of the older buildings where made to last unlike the modern ones we have now and when beautiful buildings like this fall in to disrepair its not down to the building's but down to the people who leave them behind
That tunnel allegedly runs to the police shop or some other local legend

This is mad. I live in Wakefield and go to the college not far from the hospital, I’ve always wondered what it was like inside just been too scared to actually go in 😂

@@canon2633 there where to entrances I saw one which is now sealed and the other is guarded by cameras and homeless people

Security is around and they regularly check the place and may be sealed now

i believe there has not been access to this place for over a year now
I went past two week ago during the day and there was security on the grounds and it states there are security dogs too
@@chesansavannah doubt there are dogs but heavy security presence and believe no access in a long time
Spent sometime in there with opps and eyes
