I installed the Subaru OEM crossbars on my 2024 Impreza. The installation wasn't too difficult. If the Subaru dealership installs it, they charge $50. The Subaru OEM crossbars are lightweight and NOT built or designed to carry heavy weights that Yakima and Thule roof racks can carry. The Subaru OEM crossbars fit and look better on the Impreza than the Yakima and Thule racks. The Impreza / Crosstrek hatchback design is similar to a number of other vehicle brands. The one benefit of having the Subaru OEM crossbars has made it easier for me to spot my parked Impreza in a crowded parking lot filled with other Honda, Mazda, KIA, etc. hatchbacks.
