Is this DVR from an O3 unit? It's pretty sharp!

No, the original Air Unit with onboard DVR. 1080p upscaled to 1440p because I forgot to change from my normal GoPro export settings! :)

Wow, that's actually really really good. I don't watch many fly videos online but I'm surprised by how good this is.

Since Dragon was always a pain for me to launch (a lot of dip on throw) I'd like to ask you - what are your autolaunch settings?

Hi, at first I had trouble launching because of using APC props instead of higher thrust props with my 2306 size motors, but the HQPROP 7x4.5 bi-blades have been excellent.
My INAV autolaunch is only on 75% throttle and is fine with the shake-to-wake method. I've never tried autolaunch from idle and don't think I would trust it as much.
      set nav_fw_launch_thr = 1750
      set nav_fw_launch_climb_angle = 19

@@ZaksterBlue on mine, to eliminate the dip from motors at launch I decided to throw without motors on so plane got some air under the wings before applying throttle and climbing. Worked fine for me.
Instead of shake why not increase idle to 1700 and add some countdown maybe?

@@DJI_Silesia I don't have a dip problem with throttle at 75% so stick with it.

@@ZaksterBlue Wait, you use 2306 motors to drive a 7045 prop? How did the motor not burn yet? Would you mind sharing the kv and battery setup?
I have the scimitar (3d printed plane) by OlivierFPV and managed to burn out the esc and motor on the second or third launch (even before takeoff, just the spool up) - that's 6042 bi-blade on 2306 1800kv pusher with a 6s lipo and 100% launch throttle (very powerful and aggressive, too much actually - it can easily climb vertically and fly 200km/h+ level). But that was on a bls esc, I think that with a bl32 one I might have some current limiting that would possibly save the motor/esc (not sure which burned first, but it took the other with it - nice esc fire and molten solder spraying everywhere inside).
Btw, that was a really clean launch. It's a twin, so much easier than a pusher like the dolphin, but still nice.

They are the original Emax ECO 2306-1900kv, running strong after four years of service on 4S! I don't do full-throttle much, so that helps keep heat at a minimum over their lifespan. For 6S I'd have thought 1400-1500kv is a better kV range to keep watts/heat within the motor's tolerance... or of course going to a larger motor to dissipate the heat.
