The fragment gun 12 actually does more damage than the arc torrent 12. So at the moment I'm contemplating whether I want arc torrent 12 or fragment gun 12 on surge for my engame. But this video has given me a new option, fragment gun 12 on brickhouse. I'm still probably going to put dl12 on brickhouse though.

It could be good on surge. Since you dash in and stun them. Your up close and you can get back shots. I can see why it wouldn't be playable on most mechs though.
