Due to personal circumstances I seem to have lost all motivation for all my craft hobbies. I'm a very keen jewellery maker but also I love sewing, knitting and crochet so it's been really tough. Then I saw this video. This has to be the best video and probably the most beautiful piece of jewellery I've seen on TH-cam (and that's saying something because there are many great videos out there). Because I've been away from jewellery making I had no idea that you had been so ill which makes this video even more special. I'm so pleased you are feeling a bit better, so grateful that you have made this video for us and thrilled to bits because you may just have given me some inspiration again. I'll need to save up for materials but this is just too beautiful not to attempt. In the meantime I'll go and find the others videos in the set. Thank you so very much, Stephanie, you're amazing. I absolutely love the way you teach a pattern. It’s so concise and easy to follow. I have made so many of your pieces. Do you have videos of the two pearl rings that you are wearing in this tutorial?
Beautiful as usual. Question, how do you know how many beads to use to encase the bezel? I have a 12 x 12 square Swarovski I want to bezel and I’ve never done one before so any advice would be wonderful.
Each stone uses a certain amount of beads depending on the type of bezel. This bezel fits the 13x18 oval stone. I don’t know how many units would bezel a 12mm square as I don’t have one. I have a cushion cut but haven’t bezeled it yet using this bezel. I used this bezel in the Interlace Mini Ring which uses a 12mm round rivoli. Try that video for the bezel and see if it works.

Hello Stephanie! I tried to buy the supplies needed to make this because it's just so beautiful and I want to make it right away but I cant find the 13×18 swarovski. I bought the 18mm rivoli because it's the only thing left of that size. Will it work with this design?
Hmm... I’m sure you can adjust it to fit a round stone. The Interlace Mini ring tutorial uses a 10 mm rivoli so you can start there and add more units. Here ya a link to the ring for reference th-cam.com/video/YtUNNe-bjFA/w-d-xo.html

Wow, palladium plated seed beads costs $39 for 24g. I think I have to stay with galvanized silver...
Did you try Aura Crystals? They are definitely more expensive than other plated beads but if the color stays true it’s worth it for the occasional piece? Maybe? 😊

I think if you are making something, you should use the best quality available. Just sayin'. Do you ever use Duracoat beads for the silver? I am a newbie to the beading world, so need all the help I can get.

This is beautiful! I have a question about the Palladium Plated Seed Beads. How did you like them after wearing for awhile? Did they fade or did the coating wear off?
Thank you Karen. I haven't had a problem with the Palladium plated seed beads. They seem to last and don't tarnish. However, I always store the pieces I make using them in a plastic bag with a tarnish paper.
Wow - I had much more success with this way of bezzling. I just couldn't get the stone to sit straight. This works!

Hi DaMon 😊 So far the Palladium played Miyuki seeds have not tarnished. No flaking, no rubbing off. They are super expensive but worth it for a silver piece.

I've had no problems with the sterling silver and 18ct plated beads and of cause the bronzes are great!

Beautiful necklace. I want to try this, though I am just getting started beading. Your tutorials are so easy to follow, I think I can do this. I have a question. When ordering beads, the Miyuki (maybe others too) seeds are by the xx gram package. How do you know how many beads are in a package? Say I need 150 beads, is a 10 gram pkg enough or do I need 100g ? I have no idea. Thank you so much.
Thank you 🌻 When you order seed beads the online description will tell you how many seed beads of that particular size are in your particular gram package. I’m sure you can go online and get a list of every size seed bead and how many are in a gram. Would be too long to list here😊

Question, and I know I have asked you this before a long time ago but forgot your answer! I have been looking to buy Miyuki or Toho BRONZE seed beads and every website almost seems to be out of them. What website do you get them from that you can buy in bulk and are decent prices
I use Miyuki pretty much for every seed bead project. Try the websites I suggest in the description box under the video. I list several websites that I use regularly. Click the down arrow or show more and the box will open. Links don’t always show in a comment so it’s better if you check the description box. My go to is Aura Crystals but any website that has a sale or discount code is fine.

Concentrate on your craft and get proficient! That is the most important thing for a beginner. You will be surprised at how complicated it is to design and create a piece that is worthy of selling. When that time comes I hope you will want to design your own pieces from start to finish. 🌺😉🙏

While I may (probably) never get to a point where I will try to sell anything, my girls like what I do, so I will probably copy your designs to a certain extent for gifts to them and other family while I practice. I am assuming here, that copying your designs to give to family is okay?

I love this Victorian series. All of the queen's and princesses would love it. I do want to ask a question. I would love to find 11/0's and 15/'s that are more of the silver like sterling. In your experience which ones are or is there really any out there like that? Glad ur better and back.
You can purchase silver plated seed beads or galvanized pewter. Both have a more sterling silver look to them. The only issue is possible fading and the finish wearing off with time.
